This place will hold a special memory in my soul.

It’s not because of the way it looks, but the way God is working there and the people. I’m a week removed coming back from Kenya to run vacation Bible school activities with the kids at @mohiafrica and there’s way more than I can put on one post, but here are the key points.

MOHI is an amazing organization that gives kids and young adults in extreme poverty hope and opportunity through education and holistic ministry. The kids’ and the people of MOHI were inspirational in their love and faith in God. Please take a moment a look up the incredible work He is using them for and help support!

The team we brought couldn’t have executed at a higher level. Barely knowing each other’s names a couple weeks before, to being extremely close and working as one for the Kingdom. It’s amazing to come back with not only a stronger faith, but 11, great new friends.

My overall takeaways are this. One, organizations like MOHI and the people who make it, are amazing examples of the IMMENSE GOOD that comes from being attentive to what God is calling for you to do, and doing it. Two, pray with unwavering faith. The people there KNOW God is showing up for them. Three, spread the Word and the good that comes from. Trips like these are great, but it’s just the mustard seed to the faith we can grow from it!

HAPPENED QUICK! Grant and I are so pumped that we have our first hunting film underway for our new hunting/outdoor channel @fireflyoutdoors_ !

Grant joined me on an archery antelope hunt and it was nothing short of INSANE! Missed a big goat, incredible views, and the coolest stalk in the TIMBER I’ve ever had. I cannot believe I got to go to Alaska and got to call it work. Words truelly can’t express my gratitude to both @switchbackoutdoors for the invitation and to @eberlestock for allowing me to go on the hunt.

I learned so much in the moment (and afterwards) for filming and so much for the logistics of an out of state hunt. First hunt I helped film, first out of state hunt, first Sitka Blacktail and first time filling 5 tags on a hunt as a group.

WHAT A RUSH! I have been wanting to compete in something (more than getting my butt kicked in pickleball) and this more than satisfied! I am HOOKED on @nrlhunter and it was the most fun I’ve had on the job in my life.

Now, this was the peak of the comp for me. Plenty of 2 point stages and a lot of misses, but I went in with 3 goals and cleaning one stage was a bonus! My goals were don’t get DQd, don’t get a 0, and place in top 50%. I could NOT have done any of that without the help of the guys in my team, a training day at @hatcreektraining , or the gear @eberlestock and @seekinsprecision_official provided.

What a God. This is the verse that I have held onto this year. For the good and the bad. “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭ESV

If you told me a year ago I was going to run a half marathon, I would’ve put you in an asylum

But praise God for putting people in my life who push me and introduce me to hard things. I hadn’t ran over 2 miles in my life until October, and not that I really like running now, I just now have the want and motivation to be better at it.

HUGE thank you to @sophie.stands (idea to do the race) and Jeremiah for the great company, encouragement and running the race.

Race Details: I was feeling ok most of it, but around 11miles I felt my quad getting tight. Then at just over 12miles my left quad and calf cramped. And then my right. I had to intermittently go from running to hobbling. Sophia was kind enough to run with me during the race, but at that point I told her she needed to go ahead. I was still able to finish well before my previous half marathon time I did by myself earlier this year, and with 1,100 ft of elevation gain more. Time: 2:14 / Overall 97 out of 232

Our company’s biggest launch yet! Our new Modframe and Brooks packs are now live.

If you’ve known me a while, you’ve probably heard me sing the praises of my Mainframe while hunting over the last 11 years. It’s what helped me get serious into hunting and ultimately what drove me to want to work for @eberlestock

Fast forward and now we are launching the next best pack frame in the game. I was lucky enough to take one of the final samples out on a late season cow hunt last season (pictured here). I never thought something would take me out of my Mainframe, but this is a no brainer.

Anyone even considering getting a new pack, let me know! Come by our showroom in Boise and shoot me a message and I’ll come down and show you what I’m talking about. You can tell how well I shot at TAC from the photo.

But the experience and the crew I was with was the best, and it was great to meet old and new friends.

I’ll share the mountain and run a booth with @casey_richmond @tyhueckman @carsonwiedy @erik__jacobs @b_schwind @greg.willliams any day. We were the best team out there and second wasn’t close.

Earlier this month, had an awesome trip “with the boys”. @fireflyfishing_ , @kurtisminster and I met with @nik.hardiman and fished some incredible water. Nymphing and swinging up big rainbows anywhere from 18 to 26” and it was INSANE.

A Hard Fought Journey. These fish are truly incredible. They have swam hundreds of miles UPRIVER and are still the hardest fighting fish out there. I even broke my rod on this trip. One of God’s coolest creations on the whole earth, finding its way to one of His prettiest places on earth.

Noah claims he wasn’t too lucky on this trip—multiple slow days with only a few fish. But when he finally got his shot, he didn’t mess it up.
