ART RAVE 2026 “No phone policy” 📵

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the finissage of our exhibition „Midnight Zone“ by Julian Charrière at @kunstmuseumwolfsburg. Dancing and diving in front of the installation was pure magic, transforming underwater sound into an immersive techno experience. 🦈

Our curated ART RAVE is more than just an event. As a volunteer team, we want to bring people, culture, art and music together through a non-profit philosophy. Because art should be for all. 🖤

Special thanks to @dotdatofficial for traveling all the way from India to Wolfsburg, as well as @coco__cobra, @alsi_gj, @oberdeck_wolfsburg and @julian.charriere + the gallery team of @dittrichschlechtriem! 🫂

Today at @kunstmuseumwolfsburg I'm presenting a new work to the public for the first time: Ghost Performance.

I've been developing it since the last Eden Summer Institute, as part of the rhizomatic, transdisciplinary and collective project I began in 2015. It takes my research further on the collective impact of creative practice as a form of re-enchantment — free access, decentralization, open source. It's also a work about technology, loneliness and memory. And many other things, if you like.

Ghost Performance is completely free and accessible online: you can play with it, and it's fully modifiable. It's also a "white cube" display and a performance tool.

Today I'm playing it live in the museum, in resonance with my video and sound installation Sub Rosa, in its final days on view. And the brilliant French, Berlin-based musician @abs8lute takes over Sub Rosa this afternoon too.

A good Sunday afternoon for the last weekend of September. Hope to see you there.

Ghost Performance will be publicly accessible in early 2027.

Special thanks to @maverkolosoglu, @sarah.groiss and @younggenerationkmw @openareakmw

Exhibition Opening: Home Beyond Places. Perspectives of the Young Generation

Perspectives of the Young Generation“, die anlässlich der Hauptausstellung „Tell Me Where Home Is“ im @kunstmuseumwolfsburg gezeigt wird.

Fr, 18.9.2026, 19 Uhr, Eintritt frei
Ab 21 Uhr Party mit @tuelintekkal, @wasgegeht & @_sa_sy_sa_

📍 Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg

Ausstellungszeiträume:
„Tell Me Where Home Is“
19.9.2026–17.1.2027

„Home Beyond Places. Perspectives of the Young Generation“
19.9.2026–22.11.2026

Exhibition Opening: Home Beyond Places. Perspectives of the Young Generation

Next to the upcoming group exhibition “Tell Me Where Home Is”, curated by the wonderful @uta_ruh with the best Curatorial Assistants @anne.rbk & @linusolala, we are presenting our own exhibition “Home Beyond Places. Perspectives of the Young Generation” in the lounge of @kunstmuseumwolfsburg.

We invited six young, local and diverse artists who use photography, film, fashion and installation art to explore experiences of arriving and leaving, family memories and the search for a place one can call home. “Home” is not understood here as a fixed geographical location but as something personal and fluid: it can be found in memories, in relationships, in language or even in a self-chosen identity.

With perspectives rooted in Kosovo, Iran, Kurdistan, Georgia, Turkey and Nigeria.

Participating artists: Reyhan Kolosoglu, Celine Ajmone Berisha, GELA, Ninna Laçin, Amin Poorarzhangy and Bade Fuwa (in cooperation with @werkstattwoche_).

OPENING
Friday, September 18
7 pm / Free admission

Exhibition on view:
September 19 – November 22, 2026
