Because I want to be around to enjoy life with my family. Because I feel my best when I’m active, moving, stretching, and getting stronger.

I didn’t start this mindset in my teens or my twenties. I started in my mid/late 30s (*gasp* I’m giving away my age!) I know I still have so much I can work towards and achieve. My age will not be my excuse.

I was never an athletic kid, I barely passed the PE tests, I could never do a pull-up, couldn’t fathom running a mile without dread, & I didn’t come close to reaching my toes while stretching.

It’s ok if you’re not starting until later in life.

I love how they’re both “monsters” that initially are viewed as terrifying but that view changes when just one person opens their heart and shows them kindness.

For a while I wanted Stitch to be solo on this arm but Toothless just seemed like a perfect, quirky match.

Do you think Stitch and Toothless are a good duo?

Day 2. 🫶🏼🧡
#monthofgratitude #beautyallaround #texasskies by @younghearttexan

A month of gratitude. November I’ll be sharing something daily that I’m grateful for. Sometimes I can get in a funk and it’s definitely helpful to remind myself how much I have to be grateful for.

Join along, if you’d like 🧡

Anyone else love a themed race?

Some run for the after-race drinks, some run for the swag, some run for the setting…Me? Gimme any excuse to dress up, and I’m there.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! So many holiday runs ahead & I can’t wait to put together some fun flair.

Joins Run Club to build miles, ends up finding some pretty cool friends… who match your (quirky?) energy.

Why are ghosts such terrible runners?
Because they have no-body to race against!

🤷🏽‍♀️ I mean…

The repeated hills on this Half will haunt my dreams for days to come.

My fam texted to cheer me on and I figured I’d let them share the misery I was feeling. And I honestly needed an excessive amount of walk breaks this run. Never have I ever walked as much of a race as I did this one.

Lesson gained: must hill train MORE.

Because if I had to see it, so do you.

I’m so confused, why is @nutterbutter trying to terrify us??
