•••At this sound bath, we talked about “tahanan,” the Tagalog word for “home.” •••
The root word, “tahan,” means “to feel soothed.” We talked about how the definition of home can be a bit slippery. Maybe instead of a physical place; it’s a feeling, a person, it changes over time, or it’s something else entirely
~~I was definitely feeling cozy glowy homey vibes as I got to share this space with some beautiful people!
🤍thank u🤍

Snuck a pic while all the listeners were at the self care station seating area waiting for everyone else to arrive:)

**About Steady**

YP2F is launching STEADY, a community wellness program offering free or donation based, accessible yoga and mindfulness activities at our space in Virgil Village. This program is part of a broader vision for the space as a community hub where local organizations can share space, build relationships, and collectively strengthen the health of our neighborhood.

This program grows out of years of research and direct practice showing that yoga and mindfulness are powerful tools for wellbeing, stress reduction, and community connection, especially for people who have often been excluded from traditional wellness spaces. by @youngpeopletothefront

What an amazing way to spend a Sunday!! As part of our @rubble.rousers residency and partnership with @lucilegardenballers YP2F spent Sunday morning at the parkway garden community meetup. This weekend we plotted and planted!! Truly so fun and an amazing way for everyone, including our 3 YP2F members, to learn about sustainable gardening and community public green space.

This project is supported by @silverlakenc and major shoutout to @kimserenegardens 💚💚

Community meetups are every third Sunday at 10am. See you November 15th!! by @youngpeopletothefront
