POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I felt the need to share my story in hopes that it’ll inspire someone in my position. So, heres a slice…

In short, I laterally dislocated my kneecap and tore my MPFL back in November of 2024, entered the portal, found a new home, but still didn’t feel 100% going into the 2025 season after months of rehab. I questioned why. I doubted if I should even have a Pro Day but after prayer and good community in Cookeville, TN I pushed through. Pro Day went well but without scouts in attendance, it felt vain in some ways.

Fast forward, I’m back home in Miami and I felt led to give ball another shot with the @ufl so I made some phone calls and got the ball rolling with prep. In that prep, I’ve learned my identity.

“But since that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for through faith you are all sons of God in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Another great verse I hold dear is Romans 5:3 from my guy @flushed.mo !

“And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭CSB‬‬

With this, I can confidently tell my story

Shout out to my camp @trenchmob__academy @mr_4fa4_plus1_ @maximusthetrainer for believing in and pushing me through those 13 weeks of training.

Ultimately the goal is to play next level, as every kids dream is. But if that doesn’t happen THATS OK. You’re not a failure, you’ve won with Christ!

For any athlete out there who struggle with that loss, remember that you were God’s first!
