The Young Democrats of Seminole County are proud of all of our democratic state house candidates who attended the Seminole County PTA Forum this past Thursday. Thank you for showing our schools, parents, students, and teachers what it means to be involved within your community.

However we could not help but notice an abundance of empty chairs on stage. Seminole County needs leaders who are willing to stand up, show up, and make a difference.

Through their absence, these truant politicians have shown that they do not value our public schools nor view engaging with their constituents as a priority by @youngsemdems

When your paycheck stays the same and you’re struggling to make ends meet, but Amy Lockhart decides to raise taxes to the legal max to “balance the budget” while receiving a pay increase herself for a part-time job, that’s not fiscal responsibility—that’s gaslighting.

Seminole County can’t withstand one more tax increase.

AUG. 18TH IS ELECTION DAY! *ALL HANDS ON DECK*

Election Day is here, and we’re finishing strong with two Get Out the Vote Coalition Canvasses in Sanford in partnership with the Central Florida team supporting Angie Nixon’s U.S. Senate campaign.

Join us at 10 AM or 5 PM to hit the doors, connect with voters, and make sure our communities turn out to vote. While canvassers are in the field, volunteers will be inside the Sanford Women’s Club making calls as part of an all-day phone bank.

Friday is a big night for grassroots organizing, and we’re hitting the doors in both Volusia and Seminole Counties at 5:30 PM.
