Look at that smile!

Our daughter Mercy is officially accepted at BIGODI TOURISM AND HOTEL TRAINING INSTITUTE for a Certificate in Tourism and Hotel Management!

From a small village in Fort-portal to college — this is what a dream coming true looks like.

Mercy has worked so hard for this moment. She believed when it was hard to believe. And today, she stood in front of her school as a student!

We are so, so proud of you Mercy! Keep shining, keep learning, keep dreaming, keep making us proud. Your future looks bright!

THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this success. Your love, your prayers, your support — you made this possible. We are forever grateful. ❤️

AND TO OUR FRIENDS & FOLLOWERS:

The first term is sorted, but NEXT TERM is coming very soon and we need to raise her tuition to make sure she doesn’t drop out.

If her story has touched your heart, if you believe in educating a girl child, please consider supporting Mercy’s tuition.

No amount is small…Any amount will keep her in class and keep her dream alive.

Please DM me or comment “MERCY” and I will share how you can support. OR check OUR Bio..

Let’s celebrate her and let’s keep her in school! 🙏

30 copies of Where’s Dre? are heading to Uganda 🇺🇬💛

One of the most special parts of my trip was meeting Frances and learning about the work he does through @youngsters_of_uganda to help children access education and opportunities for their future.

So today I’m sending 30 Where’s Dre? colouring and activity books over for the kids. 🐾📚

It makes me ridiculously happy knowing something I created here in Australia will soon be in the hands of children I had the privilege of meeting on the other side of the world.

If you’d like to support a child with their education, please contact @youngsters_of_uganda directly. I’ll also have a link on the @fugitivez.au website before Monday for anyone who would like to help. ❤️

And obviously I couldn’t send a box from Australia without introducing them to some important Australian culture… Tim Tams. 😂🇦🇺 Plus a few other Aussie sweets tucked in for good measure.

Can’t wait for this box to arrive. 🥹

From Dre & the FUGITIVEZ family in Australia, with love. 🇦🇺🐶🇺🇬 by @youngsters_of_uganda

This is Dorren.

A few years ago, her future was uncertain. Today, look at her — standing strong, smiling with confidence, holding her 2nd TERM school report with pride. Division 1. Aggregate 7. Excellent performance.

How possible was this?

IT was made possible by THREE extraordinary people who said YES: Jörg, Claudia and Christine.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for not just sponsoring a child, but for saving a dream.

It only takes 3 people to sponsor 1 child and completely change their life story forever.

Will you be one of the three?

If your heart is moved, please write to us. Become a sponsor today.

One child. Three sponsors. A lifetime of change.

This is Mercy.

It’s been nearly a year since she’s been in a classroom.
A year of watching friends go to school while she waits.
A year she’s started to think she’s been dropped from the project.

But she hasn’t given up. She still misses learning. She still dreams.
And she’s asking to go back.

Today we’re asking you to walk with us.
Help us with Mercy’s school tuition and school requirements so she doesn’t have to put her dreams on hold.

Let’s help the girl child.
No amount is too small. SHARE_ this with 3 friends

“SUFFICIENT doesn’t meet.”
Patrick knows it. That’s why we don’t stop at one.

While Patrick is cared for, other kids are still waiting for their chance.

Be the reason another child gets to say “I’m enough.”

Now let’s celebrate the next child.
$25/month can give a child school and care.

Will you be that person? Link in bio.
Sponsored. Supported. Smiling.

Meet Patrick, one of the luckiest and most hardworking kids we know! 🪵✨
He’s currently in boarding school and gearing up for his Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) next term to finish Primary Seven. This is a massive milestone in our Ugandan curriculum, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come.
Please join us in wishing Patrick the absolute best of luck as he prepares for his exams. You’ve got this, Patrick! 💪📚
