How to stay lean as a male model: work constantly, eat inconsistently, and let cortisol handle the rest. #fashionmodel #fashionweek #editorialmodel by @youngsweetboy
Here’s what separates good models from the ones who actually get rebooked. This came up in my interview with Boys By Girls, written by @maddieloiss . We got into the top tips that actually help me on set and how I stay adaptable across totally different photographers and shoots. The main skill is adaptability, and most people don’t realise how much it matters until they’re already on set. Every photographer directs differently, and reading which type you’re working with fast is the difference between a good day and a wasted one. What that actually looks like: 1. Some photographers are loud and direct. They’ll tell you “move this arm like this,” very micro detail. Follow it exactly when it happens, don’t improvise on top of it. 2. Other photographers are completely free. They want to see what you bring, so you need material ready to offer, not just wait for instruction. 3. Figure out which type you’re working with in the first few shots. Guessing wrong and staying wrong costs you the whole day. 4. Keep your first shots as strong as your last. Consistency across the day is what actually gets you rebooked, not just a few good frames. Full interview linked in bio if you want the rest of it. Save this before your next casting or test shoot. #FashionWeek #Editorial #RunwayModel #FashionModel by @youngsweetboy
God emptied the clip with his freckle pen… Great linking up with @jakub_koz for these 🤞🏽 by @youngsweetboy
New shoot I directed and modelled in, titled “Many Hats”, out now with Boys By Girls. Head over to their website to check out the full sit-down conversation Ha Ho and I had with Boys By Girls on the actual ins and outs of this industry, from our lens. Turns out being the model and the creative director means you can’t blame anyone else when something goes wrong. Also shoutout to my amazing team once again!
