Feedom from any constraints or restrictions on my precious & fleeting time on this earth, which means that exchanging my time for money in a job until "retirement age" is completely out of the question in the long term. This means that I needed to find a way to make money work for me, rather than me for it for the next 50 years. This is why I decided to start an online business that takes advantage of the power of automation & social media, so I can reach my freedom goals ASAP. Like it or not, money IS inextricably linked with freedom in the world that we live in. Unless you have complete control over your livelihood & finances, you will be implicated in working for someone else & exchanging your precious time & energy to earn a living for the majority of your life, and time is not something we get back. So many people are stuck working 40+ hours a week building someone else's empire, & in return are earning just about enough to survive despite the enormous time and energy investment. ๐Ÿค” The system is broken & designed to benefit the few. If we don't take control and pursue other ways of earning money, and we settle for that, then that is what our lives will look like until retirement. No thanks. ๐ŸŒž 7 years together โœจ I once heard that every cell in your body has been replaced after 7 years, so you're basically a whole new person. I remember really liking the idea of that so I lodged it in my brain without a fact check.. So I ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ด going to say '๐™– ๐™ฌ๐™๐™ค๐™ก๐™š ๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ฌ ๐™ฅ๐™š๐™ง๐™จ๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฌ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™„ ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ก๐™ก ๐™˜๐™๐™ค๐™ค๐™จ๐™š ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช'.. โฃ๏ธ But a reluctant fact check spoiled the fun and the romantic gesture, as apparently that's not scientifically accurate.. ๐Ÿ™„ I knew it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Boring, haha. But then again, science cannot fully explain or capture the feeling and experience of love; something a lot more profound than just a chemical reaction. โ™ฅ๏ธ So while it may not be scientifically true, my human experience does not lie. I do feel like a completely different person since I met you 7 years ago, and yes, I still choose you, and I will always keep choosing you. It looks like Iโ€™m just enjoying my holiday, and I am! ๐Ÿ˜ But I realised in the moment that more than anything I was celebrating choices. Iโ€™ve always been someone who wanted to find the answer for freedom. Deep down I was never prepared to compromise on how much life I get to live and when. I just didnโ€™t always know what to do to achieve that. Over time it became clear that the only way to create true freedom, and have the full spectrum of choice available to me was by starting my own business. I didnโ€™t want to have to worry about money anymore, nor did I want to work for someone else any longer in a physical place, and be subject to all sorts of bs including long commutes in order to โ€œearn a livingโ€. 20 years of doing that was more than enough. ๐Ÿ˜…โ˜ ๏ธ After 5 years of building an income online, travelling hits different now. Because now I have the choice to travel when I want, where I want, and for as long as I want, and take my business with me, so I can earn on the move while I enjoy my life to the fullest. Thereโ€™s no-one on planet earth that wouldnโ€™t want that kind of freedom and choices, but only a small minority are willing to take the risks necessary to create that outcome. Thankfully Iโ€™m in that minority, and itโ€™s because of a decision I made 5 years ago that I get to live this life now. . . . . Hi, Iโ€™m Lisa-Marie. That first-week-back feeling used to fill me with the most terrible dread. New timetable. New class. New seating plan. New level of exhaustion. Knowing I had another 10 months until I could properly switch off again for a bit.. Now September can look like this if I want it to. Because now I have choices having spent the last 5 years building an income online. Everyone's life is experienced in the present moment. There is no yesterday, there is no tomorrow, there is only now. And the quality of your life is determined by how present you are able to be.. more presence means more joy, a richer life experience, with your family, your loved ones, imagine being able to be fully present with them, how rich that would make you feel. So many people are not living their life where life is actually meant to be lived. They are watching the clock, counting down till they actually have time to themselves, and when that time comes, they are too exhausted to be present in the moments that matter most. I want to invite you to reflect on where it is exactly that you are living your life the majority of the time.. Are you in the present living your life to the full, savouring it? In love with your life, excited to wake up in the mornings.. Or are you somewhere off in your head worrying about money, worrying about tomorrow, worrying about back to work, and not able to present when it really matters. ---- I used to work up to 60 hour weeks in teaching and hospitality. At that time the present moment was me just going through the motions and purposely numbing myself, switching off to it, to avoid the unpleasant emotions that came with the exhaustion and overwhelm I was feeling, I wasn't truly living. In the end I finally decided I respected my time, my health, my wellbeing and my life too much to carry on living like that. ---- ๐—ฆ๐—ผ ๐—œ'๐—น๐—น ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜€.. ๐˜ž๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ ๐˜บ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ? Life is happening now. Not tomorrow, not when things calm down, not when you have more money or more time. Right now. If your life isn't how you want it to be, you don't have to keep living on autopilot like I did. You don't have to keep waiting for the perfect time to make a change. You already know what needs to change. And you owe it to yourself to make the decisions that protect your time, your wellbeing and your peace, so you can spend more of your life where it was always meant to be lived: fully and wholly in the present moment . by @your_terms_living

If your goal is to work for yourself or start a business one day, this is a belief you need to challenge. Because every business sells something. The real question actually isn't whether you'll sell, it's HOW you'll sell and what you'll sell. When it's done ethically, sales isn't about convincing or pressuring people to buy something they don't want. It's about connecting the ๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต people with something that genuinely benefits them or improves an area of their life, or something that they were already looking for. The traditional employment system is where most peopleโ€™s dreams go to die. Somewhere between the commute, bills & the next payday, people quietly give up on the life they really wanted. So I'm selling you your own dream because you've already been sold the opposite. As a result, millions are stuck in endless cycles of debt, living payday to payday, budgeting every month & putting their own dreams on hold. But this system isn't some universal law. It was created by people. It's a social construct. Just because the majority have accepted it doesn't mean you have to. In fact, it's usually the people willing to question the status quo, stand apart from the crowd & think for themselves who go on to create extraordinary lives. The trailblazers. The mavericks. The people who stop asking for permission & create a different reality. Because that's exactly what we are... Creators โœจ We create our own lives. Every decision moves us closer to the life we dream about OR keeps us living according to somebody else's blueprint. - I reached a point where I'd had enough. Enough of living on a budget. Enough of letting money dictate my life. Enough of working within somebody else's system while my own dreams were on hold. So I decided to follow mine instead. - Today I run my own successful online business & help others build theirs, because I believe the alternative is spending your one precious life not living the way your heart wants to live. Not because you aren't capable, but because you were sold a path that wasn't designed for your own flourishing. The online world changed everything. The opportunities available today didn't exist for previous generations, & as the creator of your own life, you get to choose differently. At uni I had a postcard on my wall that said - "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." I used to think it was just a nice quote that made me feel good. Now I finally understand what it means. So yes, I am selling you your own dream. Because somebody already sold you the opposite.
