I'm thrilled to share some wonderful news! This year, in recognition of Black Doula Week and Birth Justice, I'll be participating in Birth Justice at the capitol building with SBJN. This event holds profound significance for me, as I'm passionately dedicated to the cause of equitable birthing experiences for all.

I'll be spending the next 3 days actively engaging with fellow activists and legislators, working towards impactful policy changes. It's a truly crucial opportunity to amplify the voices of those who are underserved and to advocate for systemic improvements within our healthcare system. My daughter will be joining me; witnessing this commitment to social justice firsthand is an important part of her education and upbringing. The experience of attending such a significant event alongside her will undoubtedly be a powerful and memorable one.
