BC Epic 1000!

1054km 10,321m, Meritt to Fernie in 3 days 4hrs and 41 minutes.

Gonna take a while to come down from this high. It's funny how you can keep pushing your body and not find its limits. It's been 24hrs since finishing and I feel it now.

Incredibly lucky to have shared half the ride with @salix.jakob and the second half with @skur.works . They both pushed me through incredible discomfort and the conversation was both light and deep just at the right moments.

I have no sensation in my hands, my ankles are so swollen I can barely walk, I'm a bottomless incinerator of food and my eyes are so heavy all I can think about is the next nap. I guess that's what 56hrs over 3 days of riding will do to a guy.

Buckshot 2026

Feeling absolutely on top of the world after this one! A good redemption after a silly scratch last year. So many awesome people, an epic, challenging route and every type of weather imaginable. Kept it steady, managed the aches and kept my head on straight for a 21.5hr adventure!

Feeling grateful to have been able to spend 640hrs this year riding my bike. Feeling sad that it's almost over. Steve told me the best way to train is to keep it fun, cheers to that 🥂
