Can Noah Centineo’s Street Fighter save itself from a weak script?

Noah Centineo and Andrew Koji bring a solid dynamic to Ken and Ryu, and Vidyut Jammwal makes a good Dhalsim. But forced one-liners, inconsistent fight sequences and a screenplay buried under fan service stop Street Fighter from delivering on its potential. And for a film built around a fighting tournament, the tournament itself is surprisingly underwhelming.

Reporting Live Is What Happens When A Good Story Gets A Boring Screenplay.

Parineeti Chopra and Deven Bhojani have good chemistry, and the illegal sand-mining angle has genuine potential. But predictable writing, excessive exposition and a painfully slow investigation drain the thriller of its suspense.
The ending does have a few surprises, but the film never quite delivers on its premise.

Can Veer Pahariya actually surprise you in Prem Keetanu?

Prem Keetanu is surprisingly good, especially when it comes to its middle-class world, college friendships and humour.

Veer Pahariya fits the character really well, while Aafiya Sayed is extremely natural in her debut. Aparshakti Khurana and the supporting cast also bring some genuinely funny moments.

But somewhere between all the comedy and college chaos, the love story gets lost. And the film definitely needed 15–20 minutes cut.

Why Is Drishyam 3 Peak Drishyam?
After two movies, we already know Vijay Salgaonkar has a plan. So the fun isn't really in asking whether he'll escape... it's how.

And that's where Drishyam 3 works. Jaideep Ahlawat brings a fresh energy to the investigation, Gaitonde is hilarious, and the climax delivers the kind of theatre moments you want from a Drishyam finale.

The second half does slow down and some twists are predictable, but when this movie starts putting the pieces together, you still want to know how Vijay gets out.

Why Does The Vvaan Feel So Boring Despite Such A Good Premise?

The Vvaan has an interesting world, Indian folklore, a mysterious forest and Van Devi. But the writing feels predictable, the comedy can be forced and the film takes too long to find its rhythm.

Sidharth Malhotra works better in the serious moments, while Maniesh Paul brings some of the film's funniest scenes. But ultimately, the world is more interesting than the story happening inside it.

Why Does Vibe End Up Being Just Good Instead Of Great?

Kunal Kemmu brings a fresh absurd comedy to Bollywood with two corporate guys suddenly pulled into a spy mission. The concept works, Kunal is great, and some of the comedy genuinely lands.
But the film needed to go even crazier with its humour. The second half also loses some of the energy.

Is Mirzapur The Movie any good?
The raw, gritty world, dialogues and humour are back, and Divyenndu as Munna Bhaiya once again steals the show. Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Ravi Kishan bring strong performances, while the climax delivers the mass moments fans came for.
The runtime is a little too long and some story beats feel predictable, but when Mirzapur: The Movie gets going, you remember exactly why this franchise has such a massive fan following.

Yash Deserved A Better Story.

Toxic has the swagger, scale and star power, but for me, it forgets the one thing that matters most: giving us a reason to care. Yash brings the aura, but the screenplay is convoluted, the twists are predictable and the action often feels empty.

Is Awarapan 2 Worth The Hype?
The best part of Awarapan 2 is still Awarapan 1. Emraan Hashmi brings back that old-school intensity and attitude, while the music and nostalgia do a lot of the heavy lifting.
But the twists are predictable, the new characters feel undercooked and the villain is more annoying than intimidating.

Bollywood Finally Has A War Series That Gets Aerial Combat Right.

Operation Safed Sagar brings the 1999 Kargil War and the Indian Air Force's Golden Arrows Squadron to Netflix, and honestly, the aerial combat is one of the best things I've seen in an Indian war series.
Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill and Abhay Verma are excellent, the military detail is impressive, and the use of real footage adds a lot to the experience. Yes, some of the CGI is clearly visible, but the show does enough right that you stop caring.

What If Devdas Was A Gangster?

Lokesh Kanagaraj's DC is a brutal, stylish and unapologetic Tamil action thriller that turns the classic Devdas archetype into a gangster on a mission to kill anyone who gets in his way.
The corridor and police station sequences are fantastic, the cinematography gives the film some genuinely epic frames, and Anirudh's music takes the hero's aura through the roof.
For a first-time lead actor, Lokesh has the swagger and intensity the role demands. But Wamiqa Gabbi completely steals the show, bringing both vulnerability and intensity to her character.
My biggest issue? The villain and major story beats feel generic, and the film needed more emotional depth and unpredictability.
