Join me and @vitalvillage tomorrow night where I will discuss my role with @mass_wic and how the regional IBCLC role has made such a powerful impact on the breastfeeding rates in MA.

Hope to see you there! Follow @vitalvillage for more details ✨ by @yourfavoritencs

@bsoccah held their first annual Caribbean Entrepreneur Fest this weekend as we continue to celebrate Caribbean Heritage month this June.

@special_ket joined me as we were featured for our expertise in the maternal and child health sector. We both have decades of experience in the following roles: birth doula, postpartum doula, newborn care specialist and IBCLC (international board certified lactation consultant).

We made so many wonderful connections and hope to continue to be an asset to our community for years to come. ✨

Thank you @bsoccah and @_g.p for this opportunity to showcase our services and we hope to continue to build on this partnership to provide access and support services where we know it’s most needed for our black and brown families.

Celebrating #blackbreastfeedingweek this last week of August allows #mlca to join together, along with other organizations around the world to bring awareness to the disparities the Black Community faces in Maternal and Child Health. We continue to heighten awareness , collaborate and support our local organizations who also share this great passion. Please follow @blkbfingweek for a listing of all the events and activities planned for this week and beyond ✨✨✨ #mlca #massachusettslactationconsultantassociation #breastfeedingmonth #blackbreastfeedingweek #boston #springfield #northshore #southshore Repost from @blkbfingweek

As we grow from the events of the past year, we invite you in to a Black Breastfeeding Week that honors the need for rest. We hope to inspire you to create #BBW21 events that speak to the power of rest in our lives and movement. We want to meditate, reflect and restore en masse with you! Tell us in the comments what Big Pause events you’re imagining or planning for your communities and families for Black Breastfeeding Week 2021. #BlackBreastfeedingWeek #TheBigPause #CollectiveRest #CollectivePower #LiftEveryBaby by @yourfavoritencs

Moms hold a special place in everyone’s heart (and mind DAILY ☺️)! We love them, we honor them, we embrace them, and we follow their guidance directly and indirectly 💞 Happy Mother’s Day to YOU! You are always appreciated, loved and adored 💐🤗 by @yourfavoritencs

How accurate are these assumptions??! 😲 it’s so unfortunate that the #magicalmamas in our lives tend to feel at least one of these or more during their parenting journey. Let’s take some time to be active listeners to these special mamas in our lives and in our communities. Hear them, feel what they may be experiencing and guide or refer them to maternal health specialists who can best support their journeys. Thank you @mamapsychologists for this post!! Much needed ✨ #maternalmentalhealth #parenting #perinatalmentalhealth #family #newbornsupport #activelistening #empathy #familysupport #communitysupport by @yourfavoritencs
