How are you feeling mentally and emotionally?

This has been a question that I’ve been asking my clients for years because massage is more than a physical experience. The capacity in which I get to work with people is so vulnerable that it allows us an opportunity to access experiences that have been repressed for any length of time typically due to a survival instinct from not feeling safe.

Emotional release therapy allows me to dive even further into that space with even greater intention. I’m currently in the process of learning more about this technique through hands on experience with people that I share live and trust with. I genuinely feel that this is where my work is heading because I’ve seen and felt the immense impact that it has on someone’s life.

I am so grateful to be who I am and to do the work that I do, my ultimate intension is to help others before I die because suffering is painful. 💚

Men who perpetuate narratives that harm women and other vulnerable groups of people are disappointing, disgusting and soooo not the future.

The patriarchy is not solely perpetuated by men but it is also not commonly battled by men because they are the benefactors of that system. I have experienced it many times in gay male culture. People have shown me time and time again just how much they absolutely HATE women and I don’t think many of them even realize it. It is so deeply ingrained in how we as a society interact and women are ✨forced✨ to smile and laugh through it. Their voices are stifled by the years and generations of men’s feet and hands clamping down around their throats.

Do not ask women to fight or dismantle the patriarchy, ask men why they continue to perpetuate it. Men are weak, they’re a shell of the “man” they pretend to be. The strongest humans to exist on this planet are women and the most dangerous force on this planet is the cis male ego.

Learning something new with something I’ve done 100 times

🥒 Cucumber Salad 🥗

Your food is your art and, as with all art, you have creative freedom 🧑🏽‍🩰

6 Persian cucumbers 🥒
1 red bell pepper 🫑❤️
1 green bell pepper 🫑
1/2 red onion 🧅
1 large avocado 🥑

Dressing:
1/3 cup EVOO
1 tbsp sumac
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper 🌶️
1 tsp oregano 🌿
1/4 tsp sea salt
1.5 squeezed lemons 🍋

Mix it all together and what do you get? Deliciousness 😋 I eat it with chips or I put it on fish. I also threw some feta cheese in and it’s so good 🙂‍↔️
