Hello, hello 👋 It has been (checks notes) since NEVER that I have done an introduction post here, and I thought today might be a great day for that!

My name is Jolie. It’s like Julie with an o. I’m pretty sure I was put on this planet to help women find permission to fully embrace and embody their truest self. Let me explain.

I spent years of my life playing the game of doing what I thought I was supposed to be doing as a person, and entirely abandoning myself along the way. My navigation system was centered around fear. What will people think of the ideas I have, choices I make, things I pursue? I had gut instincts, sure. But those felt hard to articulate and dangerous, and I did everything I could to reason them, with their silly ideas about my pleasure, worth, and fulfillment, back into their rightful place in the ground.

I failed to connect the myriad of issues I was having (panic attacks, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, inability to get things off the ground, deep restlessness, relational unhappiness, and feeling like I was muzzling myself) with the fact that I had abandoned my own self, my own knowing: knowing what I want, knowing where to turn, when to stop, when to start, when to stay, when to go.

I began to change how I showed up in the world, and I let what needed to die, die. And what needed to be born, be born. I lost things. My place in religion. My marriage. People’s approval. I also gained things. My magic. My sense of purpose and authenticity. Peace down to my bones.

So that’s what I do, I help other women find their footing in their own lives. I’m also a mother, an artist, a writer, a Gemini, a jokester, and lifelong enthusiast of Women Who Run with the Wolves. You can learn more about me and the coaching work I do at the link in my bio.

Now PLEASE, I’m practically BEGGING HERE, can you introduce yourself in the comments like the good old days of Instagram of Yore when we did that sort of thing!? I want to hear something about YOU! N/J/L (I made this up. Name, what brings you Joy, where are you Located?) 💗 by @yourknowing
