Dressed in hand-made armor that took a couple years to complete—except for the helmet freshly built this autumn 🛡️✨—this costume brings a true D&D touch to the holiday - I CAN BE MY D&D CHARACTER :).

After more than six hours of Photoshop CS6 work involving color grading, precise back ground removal , digital filling and blending, THEN printing it on paper and hand-drawing sword and face redesigns, then rescanning with more glowing effects in CS6 software ⚔️🎨💻…..

(There is NO AI as one can see, by the Halloween night iphone pic basis, in the second pic)

You can actually feel like Batman if you descend into caves wearing modified motocross armor…

2nd pic: Cave numero uno, 50+ feet down 🔦

Disclaimer: Not recommending anyone try this. I had a buddy on safety rope duty, several years of Boy Scout/other experience, and replaced the Yankees cap with an helmet before going underground. And I didn't disturb the native bat population at the bottom. :) 🦇

Happy Halloween Season!

(NO AI - The tongue was and replaced, then the eyes brightened 10%, with Adobe CS6 software. The background was a non-AI bat image purchased from Dreamstime.)

A biting wind swept down from the forest and over the roof, its chill announcing his presence to the creatures that would beset him. His resolve was unyielding; spirits, monsters, and mages could not sway him. Power continued to emanate from him in a soft blue glow.

He grit his teeth, squared his shoulders, and drew his sword. LET THEM COME! LET THEM EAT FROST! (audio excerpt)

A slow exhale rolled from him, not fear—focus. His fingers tightened around the hilt, the glow along his gauntlets flaring as his will forged itself into something immovable.

(That is my voice, but not the normal voice I use to order Starbucks. That would be one dramatic latte. 😉☕)

(If you boil it down, it's just an imaginative nerd playing D&D with his minis—me. 🤓🎲)

I played a Death Trooper at a Fan Experience in 2023. This is dubbed over with my more normal voice instead of the garbled Death Trooper voice that was in the original video. 🚀🎤

I've got a couple DMs about my artistic apples. These are the coolest ones, but the big apple is the Yankees. I have a bit of love for both the Yankees and the Sox. Both are on the ball in 26' !

1980 Snowtrooper.... The Empire Strikes Back! ❄️🧊⚔️

Also,

1. I had to use Bondo because I cracked the back after initial tests.

2. I had to Dremel out the inside of the nose after casting it, to fit it better.

FanExpo Chicago 2026...Five Reasons

...Support artists, not AI.

1. Energy Drink
2. Star Wars Scout Trooper Cosplay
(only one dude, but he looked killer)
3. I got a sweet Skeletor drawing and I'm gonna frame it.
4. William Shatner - good motorcycle story.
5. Still simpin' on that Gondor cosplay.

"You think Darkness is your ally. I was BORN in it." It's not Tom Hardy's exact line from The Dark Knight Rises (2012), but my interpretation. Exact = "Ah.... you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!"
