I haven’t really reintroduced this version of myself on socials yet and what a better time then after a photoshoot? 😂
So Hi! I’m Jadyn, the owner of @salon_reverie and gosh that still feels weird to say. We opened in July of last year and it has been my dream come true. I have been a stylist for 10 years and I am still so obsessed with this industry! Outside of the salon I am a wife, a Mom of two amazing kids, and we also have a big fluffy newfie🐕‍🦺. I am always chasing new hobbies, adventures, and the end of a good book (or 50). I love music, being outside in our giant garden, and I also love going to work because I truly enjoy hanging out with my team and the people in my chair. Behind the chair, I do a little bit of everything and I honestly love it that way! I like the challenge and I’m obsessed with mastering my craft. I have incredible family and friends and this chapter of my life is my favorite yet✨ I love this new version of myself that I’ve grown into and I hope you love her too🤎

Growth starts where comfort ends. Take the chance because it might be the best thing you’ve ever done. Stop staying where you are just because it’s comfortable there, because you will never get where you want to be. You are who you surround yourself with so surround yourself with people who inspire you and make you want to grow. Leaving where I was comfortable felt so monumental at the time but it propelled me into more growth and inspiration than I ever thought was possible. People tried to put me down, talk me out of it, thought I was crazy, turned their backs, talked about me, and all for following my dreams… but what did taking that chance get me? Goal: keep the dimension, bring up the highlights, brighten up by her face, touch up the face frame and ends.
What we did: a mini foil instead of our regular heavier foil with most of the focus being around her face and crown area to preserve her dimension and then we opted in for a conditioning treatment to keep everything fresh and maintained ✨
Sometimes less really is more!
