3 piles from one tree and there is more on the neighbor's side. That was a lot of handsawing. Electric chainsaws aren't as helpful when power is also out, we had to be strategic that first day. by @yourmanjeff

Good news, as of about 20 minutes ago, MLGW restored power to my area. So now I'm charging all my devices just in case this is one of those temporary things. In the meantime I am glad that... by @yourmanjeff

Progress on cleanup. Majority of the big trunk pieces are still in my back yard. I'm slowly sawing it into moveable chunks, it's a heavy boy. by @yourmanjeff

Some trees decided to pay my house a visit yesterday. #Memphis #storm still without power, current communication from city is to plan on no power until Thursday. So I imagine today will be a big BBQ day as people clean their fridges. I woke up early and sawed most of this up, moved about a quarter of it to the front for debris pickup before it started to get too hot to be out there with no way to cool. by @yourmanjeff

Neighborhood stray taking his daily nap on the porch. I call him shadow. He was injured a few months back and with food and patience this guy is roaming the neighborhood again! Still won't let me anywhere near him. #catsofinstagram by @yourmanjeff
