finally the release day tomorrow and I can't believe we've come so far and just ughh, I have so much to say and yet at the same time I don't know how to explain the emotional turmoil I've been feeling these past 2-3 weeks. Been here for like what? almost three years in this fandom and I don't know how to explicitly draw up the image of everything, the messy part, the beautiful part. But such a wonderful ride and *goosebumps* I'm not ready to say goodbye. I just am not. The best way to explain it might be when a dark misty shadow envelopes you and slowly settle under your bones, a phantom veil of darkness surrounding me and how could I be ready to let go, when every moment with it feels stitched into my soul?
I think I've said it before and I would like to say it again, dark romance is not my thing, since many, and many writers forget the difference between morally grey characters and the characters who outright practice the inhumane behavior, which many times crosses the boundaries between the grey area and romanticize SA or h*rassment. And I think that's what I love about this whole series, it portrays the essence of hauntingly beautiful dark mystery and yet it never crosses the boundaries or romanticize the atrocious and inhumane practices.
And lastly I don't know what @authorrunyx put in her books because oh my god, she has the power to get us completely hooked, not a single chapter is bland. I think one of the things I love alot in books is that when an author builds the whole world and then throws a charachter to unlearn everything they've taught you. Like ma'am??!?? she does it too well. I think the best way to say that is whenever you think you're getting where the plot is going, she goes like "umm, actually no, everything you've taught is wrong" and then you with the character have to unlearn and relearn things and bang, she's mastermind in that.
I can't wait for tomorrow and please please please don't circulate any spoilers, please. We've waited for a long long time and in this way you're disrespecting her and you're spoiling it for others and their experience. Don't be a jerk and don't do it.

I don't think I could ever express my gratitude towards you people but I tried. And I don't think words hold the power to express what I feel towards y'all. All I ever want to say is thank you. Thank you for sharing my obsession and never making me feel that it's idiotic. Thank you for being here.

And happy new year. May this year bring more peace and love for all of us. May we fall but we never lose the strength to stand again. To new beginnings and to new experiences, however small or big they are. To being weird and goofy and absolute ourselves. by @yourpipedreamx
