This birthday feels different because I know the journey behind this smile. I have been through moments that tested me, days that made me question myself, situations I never imagined l would have to face, and seasons where I had to be strong even when I didn’t feel strong. I have cried, l have worried, I have been disappointed, I have felt overwhelmed, but somehow, I kept going.
I have learned that strength isn’t always about having everything figured out. Sometimes, strength is simply waking up, choosing yourself again, putting one foot in front of the other and trusting God to lead the way. And today, I am proud of myself for every time I refused to give up.
I thank God for bringing me this far. For the battles He fought for me that I knew nothing about, for the doors He closed to protect me, for the people He placed in my life, and even for the lessons that came through difficult situations.
May God bless the work of my hands and make everything I touch fruitful. May He grant me the desires of my heart according to His perfect will.
May I never have to beg for what God has already destined for me and above all, may I never lose myself while becoming everything prayed to be🙏🏼
Cheers to another year of life, growth, love, laughter, blessings and becoming the best version of myself. A
Happy Birthday to me!
I survived. I grew. I prayed. I persevered. And I am still standing.
Here’s to my BEST chapter yet.
