Congratulations to Hallowarrior and director @spookysottak on winning the Biometric Best Picture Award at @tadfilmfest 🏆🩸 This award went to the film that scared Toronto the most. No judges and no ballots. The audience wore their smartwatches through ScareScore-enabled screenings, we tracked their reactions in real time, and Hallowarrior came out on top. Catch it on @shudder and see how you hold up 👻 Thank you @tadfilmfest for having us! Team ScareScore at Screamfest LA 2026 🩸 We were thrilled to sponsor this year’s festival! 10 days of horror films, black carpets, and fear measuring at the world famous Chinese Theatre. It was an honor to give out the 1st ever Biometric Best Picture Award, a horror award decided entirely by fear. No judges and no ballots. Audiences wore their smartwatches through ScareScore-enabled screenings, we tracked their heart rates in real time, and the film that scared people the most took it home. Congrats to @nervousmovie for making history as the very first winner 🏆 Your audience’s heartbeats picked you, and the numbers don’t lie. Thank you to every filmmaker who trusted us with their premiere, every fan who let us measure their fear, and @screamfestla and @chinesetheatres for making it all possible. This is only the beginning 👻 #ScareScore
