I’ve never really done an introduction post, so this is probably as close as I’ve gotten. Hi, I’m Deanna!

When I started making cute little videos, I was just having fun and using it as a creative outlet. And I still am! But somewhere along the way, I started putting pressure on myself to “pick one thing” because apparently that’s what you’re supposed to do.

The problem is, I’ve always been a bit of a dabbler. I like food, travel, motherhood, outfits, random thoughts… narrowing it down has never really been my specialty hehe

So for now, I’m just going to keep putting myself out there, following whatever I’m curious about, and trusting that I’ll settle into it eventually. Or I won’t.
And if I don’t, maybe the dabbling is the point!

Chicken Provençal, save this for your next dinner idea.
It’s one pan and minimal effort.

Made this one with my gorgeous @staub_ca braiser, and chicken thighs from @dalmenyacres my new favourite local find

You’ll need:
Chicken thighs
Baby potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
Grape tomatoes
Olives
Garlic cloves
1 shallot, sliced
Fresh rosemary
Herbes de Provence
Olive oil
White wine
Salt + pepper

To make it:
Heat oven to 400°F. Add the chicken thighs to a baking dish and season generously with olive oil, herbes de Provence, salt + pepper. Add the potatoes, tomatoes, olives, garlic and sliced shallot around the chicken. Drizzle with a little more olive oil, another sprinkle of herbs and a splash of white wine. Finish with fresh rosemary sprigs.

Bake for 30–35 minutes covered, then uncover and cook for another 20–30 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F/74°C and the potatoes are tender.

Serve with crusty bread for soaking up everything at the bottom of the pan. Non-negotiable. by @yourspag

For anyone wondering if a week away with a toddler can still feel like a vacation:

We spent the week at Deerhurst Resort in Muskoka and it was the perfect mix of having lots to do and actually getting to slow down and enjoy being in Muskoka. Our week included:
• a lodge with the dreamiest view
• boat + paddle board rentals
• the waterski show
• pools + the indoor play place
• arcade trips
• really good food
• and a whole lot of time outside 🌲

We can’t wait to go back 🥰
