🎙️ CALLING BEAUTY PROFESSIONALS

To date, Your True Reflection @yourtruereflectioncic has delivered more than 400 complimentary restorative healing facials and gifted over £55,000 worth of wellbeing and essential products to women who have experienced bullying, abuse or trauma.

Now we are taking the next step by providing professional training and creating new opportunities for the women we support.

I want to ensure our students receive honest guidance from some of the very best people in the beauty industry—helping them develop their skills, build their confidence and avoid some of the pitfalls I experienced through poor training and poor mentorship.

If you have been tagged in this post, it is because I respect your professionalism and have firsthand experience of the knowledge, integrity and quality you bring to our industry. If we haven’t met yet, and are not tagged but you share our values and would like to support and guide our ladies, please reach out—I would love to get to know you and explore how you could become involved.

I would love to invite our industry experts onto our platform for a relaxed Zoom conversation or podcast-style interview, where you can share your experience and offer practical guidance to our students.

Your knowledge could genuinely help a woman rebuild her confidence, begin a new career and create a more secure future.

If you would like to take part, please message me or email info@yourtruereflection.co.uk.

With love,
Abi 💗

Your True Reflection began with one community group and one volunteer. Eighteen months on, we’re working alongside four community groups, with five volunteers giving their time. I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped us grow. 💗

Together, we’re making space for restorative care and connection in our community. If you’d like to find out about volunteering with us, please send us a message.

Today we’ve been out doing outreach at the community event in Ellington Park, Ramsgate, sharing what Your True Reflection is all about.

We spoke about our restorative healing work and the projects we’re developing: our Sports Movement Project, helping women reconnect with their bodies through gentle, supportive movement, and Healing Through Art, creating space for creativity, expression and connection.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve provided more than 400 restorative healing treatment and re-gifted more than £55,000 worth of wellness goods. We’re so grateful to The National Lottery for supporting our restorative healing project and helping make this work possible.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat and hear more about what we do. It was lovely to be part of a community day in Ramsgate. 💜 by @yourtruereflectioncic

Healing Through Art
A project coming soon!

Healing Through Art is a creative project by Your True Reflection CIC, bringing together several artists, each with their own way of making and sharing art.

Created for women affected by trauma or difficult experiences, the project offers a welcoming space to explore creativity, connect with others and express yourself at your own pace. Through different art forms and the artists’ individual approaches, participants can reflect on where they have been, who they are and where they hope to go.

There is no need to be an experienced artist, and no pressure to talk about personal experiences. Taking part can simply mean trying something new, making something with others, or finding a little space for yourself.

We have listened to women’s hopes and needs through surveys, and their responses help shape the project. At its heart, Healing Through Art is about creativity, connection and the possibility of healing—together. by @yourtruereflectioncic

Fellow therapists, Your True Reflection belongs to all of us.

I’m the founder, but I’m not the boss. This is a community built by people who care and want to make a difference.

Therapists have already volunteered 3,000 hours to support women in our community. We’re so grateful—and we need you, too.

If you’d like to share your skills, give a little of your time and be part of something meaningful, please join us. Together, we can help more women who have been impacted by violence and abuse feel cared for and connected. ❤️❤️❤️
