Here is gameplay footage of Dead or Alive 2 on Dreamcast.
Playing it in glorious 480p VGA via my OSSC Pro.
I think DOA2 on Dreamcast is one of the most colorful games in the series and I admired the early CG models despite its imperfections.
I noticed the game just has story mode instead of an arcade mode.
I also founded out the game records how many times you played with the VMU. Apparently the more you keep playing, the more earn able unlockables you can get from.
I was often confused to why in story mode it’s only one round and why I don’t unlock characters after story mode. After being so used to playing Tekken I expected that sort of thing for other fighters.
I guess it’s okay some things aren’t needed to be explained it’s all about having fun and finding the mystery within the game.

My friend bought me two of the Dead or Alive games on these SEGA systems for my birthday, knowing I’ve always wanted to get into these games after playing the sequel at Round 1 a few years back and the first one on a Saturn emulator.
I’ve always appreciated the aesthetic on Saturn and Dreamcast.
However the cast of the game does seem relatively small compared to other fighting games.
I do admire how color and glossy the game looks for its sequel on Dreamcast.
Me and my friend were at it with each other on the Dreamcast and Xbox versions.
It was unfortunate that the series was forever exclusive on Xbox afterwards. But I guess there had to be a competitor to Tekken on PlayStation and Super Smash Bros.

Had a fun successful time at attending @liretro in Long Island NYC. I really wish I founded out about this event earlier. They even got kids all in on the old games. Bought a couple of stuff there too and got to meet some retro gaming YouTube personalities too and artist alley folks.
Definitely will start attending every year now.
Every retro gamers dream.

Showcasing gameplay of Space Fishermen. It’s one of these games I’ve just been hooked to as of recently. It takes heavy advantage of the DualShock controls mimics the fishing rod reel. Also showcases the unique cel shaded graphics to give it a 2D animation look. The Game has over 139 different fish to collect. The game can get tricky with the newer fish you try to get. I’m not too big on simulation games but the addictive gameplay and colorful cel shaded graphics makes this game a pleasant experience.

Hey folks I’m back. Wanted to start posting more now that I have free time on my hands. Been busy with art school lately so I haven’t been able to make too much time to game. However I still bought games every now and then. I have not given up on gaming and most likely never will. I know I’ve been pretty bad at replying to DMs for that reason I haven’t been on this account as much due to me being in college.

I decided to import this fun addictive PS2 game I’ve been leaving off for a while called #spacefishermen . Developed by the same developer who did Pen Pen Triicelon.
The gameplay is mostly simple where you just have to fish in this colorful galaxy world. The game lets you choose three characters, then it introduces a hub world where you can interact with NPCs and upgrade your fishing gear or sell the fish you captured.
The game is pretty addictive and I loved the upbeat soundtrack and the different unique designs of the fish. I do admit some fish designs can be lazy but some can be really fun to look at. I also admire the cel shaded graphics in this game which was what caught my attention, the style reminds me of SpongeBob SquarePants in 3D.
I find it odd we never got this title, I’m pretty sure if we did we probably could have gotten another sequel.

Been months since I’ve used this account. Always wanted to post again but never got around to game. Decided to play one of my favorite arcade game on Namco Museum Encore called Dragon Saber, the sequel to Dragon Spirit. It’s a very fun shump but brutally difficult as you have to dodge enemies and bullets. Unfortunately I’ve only ever been able to pass Stage 2. This game also offers simultaneous multiplayer where you get to play with a friend. I really highly recommend this game. It’s currently on Arcade Archives on PlayStation 4, and Switch, a port was also available on PC Engine.

Playing the classic Super Mario Bros in two different forms now being able to play on handheld and on the go all before the Switch was a thing. Hope I can get much further in the game than before. Classic Mario never gets old.

Decided to check out Choro Q Park again. Has a unique gameplay of being able to switch around different vehicles once you cross that line. I really do like the high upbeat of the music in this game, I often think about the first stages music a lot, hopefully there’s an ost around online that I can listen to. I for the life of me can’t ever get to 1st place in the city stage, no matter how many different cars I use or how fast one of the cars are. Is there any other ChoroQ games you recommend to me?

Recently got this very popular import racing Sega Saturn exclusive called “Choro Q Park”.
The gameplay plays much like Mario Kart but unlike Mario Kart in the game once you cross a line you get to switch with a different car you choose, you can choose up to four cars or less but I always liked using four different cars because it can boost your speed and increase your chances of winning. If you win you can earn coins and unlock cars which gives this game a lot of replay ability. Though the game can get very brutal and tricky I had to cross the finish line 16 times while still in first place. I really like the different kinds of cars used and the design, the game gives you options to customize your car handling and the colors. I always admired the way the Saturn handled the polygons on the car designs.
The Choro Q games are very addictive and fun racing games with interesting content and different spins on the genre. I never understood why the series died off in videogames after the Wii installment. We could really use a new installment by now. Now I want to check out the PS2 cel shaded one.

Pocket Card Jockey finally made it to Switch to my surprise and unsurprised. Since it was only $16 I went for it and decided to see how different it is from the 3DS version. I played a lot of it on 3DS beforehand before the eShop closes down last year. I remember finding this game dangerously addictive that it was very hard for me to put the system down. I’m not exactly sure what secret recipe Game Freak puts into their games that makes them so crazily addictive. The new one on Switch decides to take heavy advantage of the Switch hardware and make the horses cel-shaded 3D and be able to see a different camera perspectives of the race, and Switch gives you the limitless options with either using the touchscreen or traditional buttons while the 3DS version was just locked to a touchscreen. The Switch version can get pretty laggy at times unlike the 3DS version. This game much like horse betting can be a real gamble but the failure can help you gain more skills to improve your chances.
I highly recommend it if you’re into spider solitare or just want a simple play through to pass through the time.
