Okay fine, my turn. Hi, I’m Laura 👋 I’m the one sending the voice notes saying “right but what if we just DID IT?” The professional pest. The organiser. The one forcing things over the finish line with a coffee in one hand and 47 tabs open at all times. By day, I work in social and content, shouting about brilliant businesses and helping people sell what they do best. And honestly? That naturally spilled into You Tart because there is nothing I love more than seeing good people with good ideas win. Especially when one of those people is my little sister. ❤️ Katie is genuinely the most talented person I know and getting to watch her create all of this from scratch makes me emotional in ways I’ll deny publicly. And Ellie? We share one brain cell, a dangerously similar Pinterest algorithm, and an ability to turn one small idea into a full blown campaign. You Tart means more to me than I can explain really. Meet Ellie ❤️ Photographer. Idea generator. Professional finder of cute things. The glue holding this slightly chaotic tart operation together. Ellie works with Laura by day and somehow still chooses to spend her spare time managing the emotional rollercoaster that is two sisters running a tart business together. Brave, really. Need a photoshoot idea? A branding opinion? A prop? A ribbon? A life plan? Ellie already has a Pinterest board for it. She’s the calm in the chaos, the mediator in the sibling debates, and the reason half our ideas actually make it out of the group chat and into real life. Katie is the brains behind the bakes at You Tart - dreaming up flavour combos at inappropriate hours, perfecting pastry like it’s an Olympic sport, and somehow turning “what if we just tried…” into your new obsession. Without Katie, You Tart would simply be three girls with a group chat and absolutely no structural integrity. Quality control is a tough job but someone’s got to do it 👀🍒 Ahead of our pop-up at The Yard at No.8, we thought it was only right that we put the new tarts through some rigorous testing. By rigorous testing, we mean sitting around a table and eating them. The verdict? 🍫 **Sweet Like Chocolate** Rich dark and milk chocolate with malted milk. Dangerously good. 🦎 **Caramel Chameleon** Salted caramel with a sea salt finish. She’s sweet, she’s salty, she’s complicated. 🍑 **Holy Frangipane** Plum and nectarine frangipane bringing serious summer energy. 🍯 **Mum’s Tart** Honey custard topped with honeycomb. The golden child. We genuinely can’t wait for you to try these. So if you’re in Bristol on Saturday, come and tell us which one’s your favourite. We’ll be there from 9am until 12pm (or until you lot buy them all). Say hello to ‘Grandad’s Tart’ 🥹 Katie and I recently headed to the Lake District to see our Grandad ❤️ Ellie was busy holding the fort in Cheltenham(we hope these pics get an approval from our content queen!) 📸 After seeing photos from our latest events, he made it very clear he’d like a You Tart of his own. Not one to ignore a direct request, Katie promised she’d make him something special. A dangerous thing to do really because she then spent the next few weeks thinking about it. The result? An apricot and almond tart that was frankly far too good for an 85 year old man who still insists he doesn’t want a fuss. We’re not saying Grandad is our most important customer. We’re just saying if he asks for a tart, he gets a tart. 🍒 You Tart. Making pastries for family members since approximately five minutes after launching. by @youtart_

Research purposes obviously… 🥐🍓 Ellie took one for the team and visited @landracebakery in Bath where this absolute beauty immediately became the main character. Flaky pastry, Cheddar strawberries, cream and custard doing something we genuinely haven’t stopped thinking about since. One thing we’ll always do at You Tart is visit beautiful bakeries, eat incredible things and come home ridiculously inspired by people doing food really well. There’s something so special about seeing how other small brands create experiences around pastry, flavour and community and Landrace just gets ittttt. If you’re in Bath, go. Trust us. ❤️ 🍒 You Tart. Sun’s out Wine’s out! We recently joined the launch celebrations of @mostwantedwines NEW Pinot Grigio Blush can + Pinot Grigio Rosé bottle! 💕 Taking place at local stylish coffee shop @slo.coffeecheltenham and catered for by the super sisters at @youtart_ the evening went off with a bang with the rosé flowing and the tunes pumping. Friday night at @slo.coffeecheltenham we lived out our slightly niche fantasy of serving handmade tarts to a room full of gorgeous @slowgirlies with a glass of wine in hand 🍷❤️ (swipe for close ups!) Alongside a brilliant brand in @mostwantedwines, we brought two very important women to the function: 🍓 Mum’s Tart Honey custard topped with fresh strawberry because apparently our family communicates through pastry. 🌸 Flower Power Pistachio and raspberry with enough main character energy to deserve its own table. Honestly still not over how lovely everyone was. Good wine, good people and a lot of emotional attachment to tiny handmade tarts. More of this pleaseeeee. 🥧 you tart 🥧 AD Being a big dessert fan (and especially a great tart) I was so hyped to try the creations of @youtart_ 😍. Katie, Laura and Ellie have bought together their strengths in the food and creative industry to bring this tart business to life and I can honestly say they were so tasty! 😋 We tried four of the flavours; - Holy Frangipane. Plum and frangipane - Alright Treacle. Treacle - Naughty but Nice. Mincemeat & almond - Honey Honey. Honey custard My top favourites were the Alright Treacle which tasted amazing warmed up with some vanilla ice cream and the Honey Honey which had a great sweet custard flavour. They’re starting to pop up at markets and @cheltenhamthetivoli more frequently next year so make sure you keep an eye on to get your hands on some slices 👀👏🏼.
