What a night. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Youth Aliyah Child Rescue Gala Dinner 2026. You filled the room with warmth, generosity and a shared commitment to stepping up for at risk children in Israel. 💙

Our guest speaker, Daniel Kaganovitch, a tech entrepreneur and graduate of Neve Hadassah Youth Village, reminded us what a safe home and a real chance can lead to.

Our guests were moved to tears when Lisa Marlowe spoke about her connection to Youth Aliyah Child Rescue and her visit to Neve Hadassah. She spoke about her beloved son Jake, who was killed on 7th October while protecting others at the Nova festival. In his memory, Lisa introduced the Jake Marlowe Memorial Scholarship and presented it to this year's recipient, Lera Dzharkinova.

Lera then played a beautiful classical piece on the piano, and current Neve Hadassah students Inna and Netanel shared their beautiful voices. It was a powerful reminder of the young people at the heart of everything we do. 🎹🎶

Together, we're helping children live, learn and heal. Thank you for being part of it. 🙏

Three years since October 7th.

We remember the staff, graduates, friends and family our Youth Villages have lost.

Thanks to your support, memorial gardens now stand at Talpiot, Aloney Yitzchak and Neve Hadassah, quiet places for our children to reflect, remember and find comfort. 🕯️

✨ A new year and a new chapter for Youth Aliyah Child Rescue starts here 💙
We’re delighted to introduce our new Co-Chairs, Aron Taylor and Eran Eytan Alvarez 👋

They bring very different experiences, but share one clear vision: to grow YACR’s impact while keeping the children at the heart of every decision they make.

Aron has been part of YACR since 2017, bringing extensive financial expertise and a longstanding commitment to the Jewish community, including 13 years volunteering with CST.

Eran brings senior leadership experience from both Israel and the UK. He has worked closely with two Presidents of the State of Israel, coached Israel’s Youth Olympic team and founded a grassroots education initiative that has reached more than 100,000 people. 🇮🇱

So, what’s next? 🚀

Aron and @eraneytan want to build on YACR’s strong foundations of over 90 years: strengthening fundraising, growing our community of supporters and ensuring resources reach the Youth Villages where they can make the greatest difference.

They also want to bring people closer to the impact they’re making, while building a wider community of supporters, partners, volunteers and advocates around YACR’s mission. More than 90 years after Youth Aliyah began, our purpose remains as important as ever: giving vulnerable children across Israel the safety, stability and opportunities they need to build brighter futures 💙

We’re so excited to see where Aron and Eran take YACR next.

Please join us in giving them a very warm welcome! 👏💙 by @youthaliyah

Wishing you and your family a meaningful fast. May you be sealed in the Book of Life for a good and sweet year.

Meet Tamar from Talpiot Youth Village. She's 10.

Before arriving at Talpiot, Tamar's childhood was defined by abuse, fear and instability. Talpiot became the first place she had ever truly felt safe. Months of therapy and visits to our Animal Therapy Centre helped her smile again.

Then, on 7 October, everything changed. The trauma she had fought so hard to overcome came rushing back.

We asked children across our Youth Villages what they would pray for this year. Tamar wrote: "That the nightmares would finally stop at night."

She is beginning to feel safe again, but her recovery is far from over. £25 covers a therapy session.

No child should have to pray to be safe. Please donate to help answer their prayers.
