We’re always in our feels on the last day of the Fall Fest! 🥲 It’s bittersweet to close up for the last time on Franklin Street after spending a week with our YR fam.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, purchased food & drinks from our booth, donated items, and stopped by to say hi. We love you, and we are so grateful for your support. by @youthresources

Day 2️⃣ turned out to be BEAUTIFUL! Keep stopping by to see us - staying connected with the YR fam is one of the biggest reasons we love being down at the Fall Festival.

While we were slingin’ pretzel bites and cider on Franklin Street, some of our students, staff, and alumni were busy at the YR office making more confetti cake and pumpkin spice puppy chow. You only have a few more days to snag a bag made with love! 💙🧡 by @youthresources

Members of the Teen Court Committee took the lead at our Fall New Volunteer Training, helping prepare the next group of youth to step into the courtroom! Teen Court gives youth volunteers the opportunity to serve as jurors, attorneys, and in other courtroom roles while learning alongside adult attorney mentors, building confidence and leadership skills, and gaining valuable real-world experience.

Our volunteers also participated in Teen Court’s first-ever Youth Attorney Training! Current and aspiring youth attorneys spent the afternoon strengthening their courtroom skills through hands-on activities focused on case preparation, opening and closing statements, effective questioning, and working as an attorney team. The training gave volunteers a chance to practice, learn from adult attorney advisors, and build confidence before taking on attorney roles in real Teen Court hearings.

Interested in getting involved—or know a student who might be? Reach out to Favene Billa at favene@youth-resources.org or visit youth-resources.org/teen-court to learn more! by @youthresources
