Thandikudi Dolmens are ancient megalithic burial structures located in Thandikudi village in the Lower Palani Hills dating back over 3,000 to 5,000 years to the pre-Iron and Megalithic Age, these sites show evidence of continuous human occupation and ancient trade routes.
• Structure: They feature box-like chambers made of 6 stone slabs set directly on bedrock, covered by massive supporting capstones. Some capstones at Thandikudi cover two adjacent chambers.
Very little is done to save them and faces neglect, damage, and heavy overgrowth by local vegetation compared to protected sites. taken in Thandi Kudi Hills by @youweumesh
