Where to begin?
.
I recently completed a 6-week 27-show tour in North America with @lovejoyonline . This is a milestone in 2 separate ways: it's my longest tour as a VJ / crew member and it's the finish-line of my most comprehensive creative project as an artist.
.
The main thing I want to emphasize is my symbolic approach in the design of the background visuals. Largely oweing to the lyrical depth on Lovejoy's debut album 'One Simple Trick', I'd like to think my visuals played an outsized role in the concert experience. It certainly was enhanced by my Dutch colleague @marc.huizinga 's stage & lighting design, who worked with my visuals in mind.
.
Once again I give a huge thanks to the Lovejoy team and fellow crew:

Five weeks ago I was the VJ for @2hollis at @summerwellfest , substituting for @coleworldla . I worked alongside @gklighting_llc who designed and operated the lightshow. This gig was a great professional experience and I am grateful to Cole for thinking of me!

my vision realized in silver.
.
i dreamed of a necklace that could suit me. i drew a sketch in january (7th pic) and @cristelball made it happen. i am grateful to now have it, touch it, feel it, and be able to wear it. and it's even better that it's handmade by one of the coolest people i've met in amsterdam.
.
every facet of life is a conduit for communication, even if the sender and/or receiver are unaware of the message. but conscious or unconscious, messages still propogate far and wide. so can you hear mine?

I gave 110% effort with visuals I created and mixed for @czelusc party in Warsaw & Kraków 🇵🇱 Poland this past weekend. Eight sets. Eight visual vibes. One VJ 😎
.
I actually listen to many of these artists in my own time. I truly believe this scene is going to take electronic music by storm. Take note.

GLITCH VLOG 7 in Almaty, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 out now on my YouTube channel YOVOZOL
.
This my first "glitch vlog" in over a year. I spent 6 days in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan last week. I thought it was the perfect time to make a stream of consciousness type of video.
.
Since it's a *glitch* vlog, I processed the footage with an HDK-01 and modified Roland V-02HD video mixer by @bpmc_glitch as well as osci-render by @james.ball_
.
This clip highlights one of the cool structures I spotted on the side of the road in a small village called Nura on the way to Charyn canyon from Almaty. taken in Almaty, Kazakhstan by @yovozol

I edited the "Snake Oil" music video for @lovejoyonline which came out last Friday.
.
I want to highlight my peer Bonnie's work @darlingluciferproductions whom I asked to record colored oil compositions to be used as overlays. She does this through a process known as "liquid lights" - a technique originating in 1960's psychedlia where oils are squished between curved glass plates and projected (with those old school analog projectors) on top of bands for psychedelic effect.
.
The band was filmed by the @noiziac team
.
Director @laatelunch
Producer @production.luke
DOP @harveydaviesdop
among many others, full credits in the music video's description 🙂 by @yovozol

A quick reel showcasing my concert visual design and VJ-work for @lovejoyonline 'One Simple Tour' - 6 weeks, 27 shows in USA/Canada this Fall '25. This also highlights my colleague @marc.huizinga 's lighting design which considered my visuals and some notes. As well as @socxs who was the touring lights operator who realized our vision and filled in the gaps. This was a great opportunity for all of us!

my visuals for @sidewalksandskeletons + @cash.forgold shows - these are fan clips from Part 1 of their Afterlight Tour which took place this fall in North America.
.
A few months ago Sidewalks and Skeletons asked me to design visuals for his upcoming tour. I ended up preparing a @resolume VJ showfile using my already-designed "witch house" assets as well as some new custom-made assets. My visuals were then live-mixed by the touring VJ & lighting designer @churchofset
.
I'd like to thank @mouna_dif from @kompass_mg and the artists for their trust in me. To be honest I would have loved to complete more work - though this project was in the middle of my preparations for a band tour this fall. Still, I feel really happy having seen some reactions online... from what I can tell the shows were a great time and I feel so motivated to have worked for such cool artists and to contribute to the happy memories of their fans!! taken in North America by @yovozol
