In July of 2024 my life flipped completely upside down when I accidentally jumped off a bridge and fell 30 feet to what could have easily been my death. Almost an hour later I woke up luckily and was able to make it home and to the hospital. After many scans and X-rays it was determined that I would need spinal fusion surgery after shattering 3 vertebrae and fracturing 2 more. Luckily I had no damage to my brain or face. Surgery was a success and doctors were confident I would be able to walk again after a long road of recovery. Fast forward 10 months and here we are! I’m very proud to say I am not only walking I have completed my first half marathon ever and even beat my goal time by almost 20 mins! I couldn’t be where I am today without the support of everyone from the start of this recovery. From family to friends to random strangers. I can’t thank everyone enough who has been here on this journey with me! I’m so blessed to still be here today and to be doing something as big as this! Imagine b2b Lost lands these past two weekends was unreal. It made me realize how great of people I am blessed with in my life. I couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of you!! From the very long life talks with @ledfordrv that made me feel so many things. To dancing the night away with people that have become like family to me. I feel such at home with you guys it’s unreal. I will cherish these weekends for the rest of my life and can’t wait for what’s next in the adventure that’s called Cole’s life!!
