Everyone talks about childhood friends, but no one talks about the best friend you find on your own while figuring out how to navigate the adult world. The ones you instantly click with and can’t imagine your life without.
This is our third birthday together. Someone once told me that friendship is about accepting each other, flaws and all. When you meet at such a young age and grow up together, it becomes especially precious. We’ve been through so many misunderstandings and arguments, but everything only brought us closer and made our bond stronger. Now, our friendship will have to withstand a much greater distance, but all our memories, shared trips, and mutual friends will help keep this connection alive for years to come.
I know you will succeed at everything in life because you are the most ambitious person I’ve ever met. Try new things, make mistakes, start over, and know that I will always support you through it all. You’ve got this, and the world is yours.
