“VICTORY FLAPS” by Ysanne Taylor 👽💫⚾️

Thank you to @raysbaseball (especially Vince and Micaela) for having me back for another Artist Series.

Honored to create a piece celebrating the Devil Rays and the incredible community we have here in Tampa Bay.

It was beyond cool getting to hand these out as a surprise for fans before the August 14 game. I cried a little. Happy tears.

This piece is my little ode to the Rays, St. Pete, The Trop, our happy flappy bois, and the magic of generations of fans loving this team.

Hid a lot of details in here for y’all. Hope you enjoy them.

AK + YT FOREVER ❤️‍🔥♾️

It’s official. We eloped. And @kristinrosephotos sent us pics that made us cry happy tears so we wanted to share with family and friends.

We were married at the courthouse by a clerk named Kysmet (“fate” doing our wedding made us smile). We took photos at the @mfastpete one of our favorite places. Ate @carupanokitchen arepas and the vintage celestial GF DF @adieuglu cake of Ysa’s dreams with a couple of friends.

We went to our first Mumford and Sons concert in Tampa where we had our first dance (and Marcus Mumford ran right by our aisle).

Spent the rest of our wedding enjoying a rare in-Rowdies-season long weekend with our pets and a day at the beach at the @thedoncesarhotel.

It was a wedding weekend that was perfectly us. And after nine years of being in love, we couldn’t be happier.

We have a few more photos and memories (and the registry situation a lot of you asked us about) at the link in our bios.

Thank you for all of the well wishes so far. We love our community so much and feel so very loved in return.

MAHAL KITA, LOLO🖤🌻🇵🇭

Yesterday, our Lolo passed from this world to the next over in the Philippines.

We were October 21 birthday twins and Libras to our core. He’s at the center of some of my earliest memories of learning to draw.

I had too many words for just this caption. Too many photos and memories and years of love that spanned from one side of the planet to the other.

I’ll be grateful to the end of time for how many extra hugs, video calls, and memories we still managed to make even though we only saw each other in 2014 in the Philippines and a few years ago here in Florida.

I’ve dreaded this day. Said goodbye to the last of my grandparents. Being on the other side of that page in life feels so strange, even though I feel so loved.

Birthdays won’t ever be the same, but I love you, Lolo. Thank you for being the very best a girl could ask for. Hug Lola for us.

Still feels like I’m flying after covering @redbullcliffdiving for @ilovetheburg and @thatssotampa this weekend. 🪽❤️‍🔥

Our publications had the opportunity to work with Red Bull to share this incredible sport and its people up close leading up to and during the event. Really proud of the content we created for this one.

The immense amount of training and dedication that goes into this sport for one of the fastest moving (literally) competitions deserves the most respect. I’ll never think a concert photo pit’s first three songs is a short time ever again. 😅

I left the last day covered in champagne, smiles, and sunshine. Thanks to all the Red Bull divers and crew for an unforgettable weekend. Can’t wait to cheer you all on for the rest of the tour.

And a special thanks to my coworkers and our contributors that helped make the magic happen. 🪽❤️
