😈 THOMMO IS BACK!!! 🔴⚫

Lachlan “Thommo” Thomas will be back in the red and black for 2027!
A reliable, strong-bodied defender with a high footy IQ, Thommo brings plenty of composure down back and strong leadership to the group.
Another important piece locked in for 2027.

With just 3 weeks to go until pre-season officially kicks off, the coaches put the word out:
Start moving. Get some kilometres in the legs. Hit the gym. Build some strength. Come ready to work. 💪🏃‍♂️
Safe to say, a few of the players have taken the message seriously… apparently. 😮‍💨

Suddenly, the coaching staff started receiving some suspiciously impressive photographic evidence. 👀📸
Running ✅
Gym ✅
Strength work ✅
AI skills ✅… maybe.

THE CONCLAVE HAS SPOKEN… POPE STAYS!

After bursting onto the senior scene in 2026 and earning Rising Star honours, Max Pope is back and ready to take his game to another level in 2027.
A tall, athletic utility with plenty of drive off half-back, Max impressed in his first year of senior footy with his ability to take the game on and make an impact.
With another pre-season under his belt, the future is seriously exciting.
The Pope is back. 🔥 @max_popey

Yeronga is thrilled to announce John Robinson will continue as our Reserves Coach in 2027!
A long-time coach with experience across many levels, John has been part of the Yeronga coaching team for three years and has led our Reserves for the past two seasons.
After guiding the boys to the 2026 Reserves Premiership, we couldn’t be happier to have John taking the reins again.

🧱 THE WALL IS BACK! 🧱

The Yeronga Devils are excited to announce the signing of Bryce Longland for the 2027 season! 😈🔴⚫
After joining the Devils midway through 2026, Bryce made an immediate impact and finished the year as part of our Reserves Premiership side. 🏆
With QAFL senior experience, a high footy IQ and an outstanding ability to read the play, Bryce is a strong intercept mark who provides plenty down back. And when called upon, he can swing forward and hit the scoreboard.
Bryce is back. Bring on 2027! 🧱😈
