YSC Academy works — 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.

From the beginning, @yscacademy was built on one idea: when school and soccer work together, dreams become possible. Founder Richie Graham and Head of School Dr. Nooha Ahmed-Lee reflect on that journey — and on the students who continue to make it all worth it. taken in Chester, Pennsylvania by @yscacademy

Success isn’t one path—it’s knowing you’re ready for 𝒂𝒏𝒚. 🌟
At @yscacademy students build the skills to lead in college, careers, and life. YSC prepares them to create their own pathways to success—on and off the field. Because here, the focus is the whole person, not just the player.

🌎✨ 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵!
We sat down with Senior Charli Lorenz to hear about his appreciation for Hispanic culture, the Spanish language, and the meaningful human connections that language can create.

In Spanish IV, Charli and his classmates are currently exploring Spanglish and its roots—not only within Hispanic culture, but also throughout American culture. 🇵🇷🇲🇽🇪🇸🌎

We’re proud to celebrate the cultures, languages, traditions, and perspectives that make our school community so vibrant. Moments like these remind us that learning about one another’s experiences helps us build greater understanding, connection, and appreciation for the diverse community we share. ❤️

🎭 Today, our Performing & Creative Arts teacher, Ozzie, worked with our YSC middle schoolers as they prepare for their monologues! Today’s lesson focused on subtext—learning how to look beyond the words in a conversation to uncover the deeper meaning, emotions, and intentions behind them.

Our students are learning not just how to speak their lines, but how to truly understand and feel them. We can’t wait to see their final performances! 👀 🎬 taken in YSC Academy by @yscacademy

🌟 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Meet Zackary!
Please join us in welcoming Zackary Coons, our new Science Teacher, to @yscacademy 🔬📚 With 15 years of classroom experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, and AP-level science, Zack brings a passion for STEM education and a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences for students.

Throughout his career, Zack has built innovative STEM programs—including fabrication labs, robotics teams, and VR-integrated curriculum—while coaching athletes to Team USA and the U23 World Championships. His unique experience as both an educator and coach gives him a deep understanding of the demands student-athletes navigate every day.

At YSC, Zack will bring his expertise in hands-on STEM learning, technology, and curriculum design into the classroom, helping our student-athletes stay engaged, challenged, and prepared to reach their goals.

We’re thrilled to have Zack as part of the YSC family!
