⚡ AMDANI, WRECSAM! WE’RE IN THE RUNNING! HUGE NEWS FOR WREXHAM! Wrexham has officially been shortlisted for UK CITY OF CULTURE 2029! What an incredible moment for our city and everyone who contributes to its growing creative and cultural scene! At WIRED, we’re proud to be a small part of that story — bringing live electronic music, experimental sounds and visual creativity to Wrexham, supporting independent artists and creating a space where people can come together and experience something different. Culture isn’t just about big stages and established names. It’s about grassroots events, independent venues, local artists, creative communities and the people who put their time and energy into making things happen. And Wrexham has plenty of all of that! To everyone making music, creating art, organising events, supporting venues and helping our creative community thrive — this is your moment too! And if we win, Wrexham could become the first Welsh city to hold the UK City of Culture title! We’re proud to be part of Wrexham’s cultural journey, and we’re right behind the bid. LET’S SHOW EVERYONE WHAT WREXHAM CAN DO! AMDANI, WRECSAM! ❤️ #Wrecsam2029 #AmdaniWrecsam #UKCityOfCulture2029 #WIRED #WeAreWired TyPawb Wrexham Wrecsam NorthWales GrassrootsMusic LiveElectronicMusic ElectronicMusic CreativeWrexham WelshCulture by @ythelabwrexham
Amdani, Wrecsam! Dancing for joy! Wrexham has been shortlisted for UK City of Culture 2029. This is a huge moment. This is a chance to celebrate everything that makes Wrexham what it is. The creativity, heritage, humour, language, communities and all the culture happening here every day. And if we win? Wrexham would become the first Welsh City of Culture. Amdani is a Welsh rally cry. It means go for it. Get stuck in. Let’s do this. Wrexham’s in the running. We’ve got a lot to play for. We can win this! Amdani! Amdani, Wrecsam! Mae Wrecsam wedi cyrraedd y rhestr fer ar gyfer teitl Dinas Diwylliant y DU 2029. Mae hwn yn foment enfawr. Dyma gyfle i ddathlu popeth sy'n gwneud Wrecsam yr hyn ydyw: y creadigrwydd, y treftadaeth, y hiwmor, yr iaith, y cymunedau a'r holl ddiwylliant sy'n digwydd yma bob dydd. A beth os ydyn ni'n ennill? Byddai Wrecsam yn dod yn Ddinas Diwylliant gyntaf Cymru. Ymadrodd Cymreig i annog a sbarduno pobl yw’r gair 'Amdani'. Mae'n golygu mynd amdani, bwrw ati a gwneud i bethau ddigwydd. Mae Wrecsam yn y ras. Da ni'n chware i ennill.  Amdani! #wrecsam2029 @wrecsam2029 @avant_cymru by @ythelabwrexham
