Finally! 3 hours in 25 seconds, how do we like that? (Would be nice to have someone cleaning my mess 🫠)

Usually that’s our living room, my flatmate was gone ten days so I used the chance haha. I guess the first step into a new live is the hardest and after that you just figure it out on the way?

Art shops are my biggest obsession, I spend hours there (and a lot of money haha). What’s your guilty pleasure?

follow your dreams, yeah! I know it’s cliche, but if you don’t try now when will you? I regret not stepping out of my comfort zone earlier, for reallllll

What’s the scariest thing you‘ve ever done? For me definitely moving countries without knowing anyone there. But you‘ll be surprised what happens if you try, trust me!

Starting a new life in a different country? Knowing no one? Not having a job? Sounds scary I know, but let me show you why it’s the best thing ever!

Golden Abyss in process ✨

Building up layer by layer, projecting my energy and feelings into each of them. Art is one of the precious things in live to put in your energy and get back even more. What is your favourite part?

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This month has been filled with so many changes, challenges, new connections, lots of laughter and fun as I’ve had the chance to exhibit my art in a gallery for the first time in my life.

My biggest thanks goes to @hijackhamburg for the opportunity to have an opening as a new artist and the great support. And also to my two lovely artists @artbykristinaschmidt and @ornellahagedorn for making this experience even more exciting and awesome. Everyone involved has made this a fantastic experience, I am so lucky to have such warm-hearted people around me.

Thank you all - to many more to come!

love, Yumi

Gilded Equilibrium in progress✨

Working with real gold gave me so many anxiety attacks, but taught me a lot of patience. How do you like the finished work of art?

love, Yumi
