𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭... 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

I am always a bit wary of posting photos that I edited in an unusual style rather than the classic and minimalistic way I tend to use. Maybe because I think the idea in my mind isn't going to age so well and I will look at it in 3 months and wonder why I posted that.

Today I decided to be bold and I posted a photo that is very experimental in style for me. The inspiration was Junji Ito's manga, Uzumaki. There are many body horror themes in his work that Baldur's Gate 3 also shares with the threat of ceremorphosis always hanging around the corner. My mind made the connection and that was the concept for this photograph.

Do you prefer the classic style or more unusual edits?

𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒔?

Looking at this photograph, I almost can't believe the one in the picture is me. It's also difficult to believe it was my hands that edited it. Perhaps it's not very impressive to some, but it's the level of skill I dreamt of having when I started doing cosplays. I wanted to have beautiful photos of my work like these ones, and to bring my vision to life.

It's not a dream anymore. The day has come.
