Puppy Teach Series 2 🐾

It looks cute when your puppy bites your hand…
But this can turn into a bad habit later ❌

What’s the mistake?
👉 Moving your hand
👉 It becomes a game for your puppy

What should you do instead?
✔️ Keep your hand still
✔️ Say a calm “No”
✔️ Immediately give a chew toy

Consistency = a well-behaved dog ✅

See caption to stop this 👇

Your dog has pseudopregnancy. What should you do next? 🐾

Next steps:
• Consult your veterinarian.
• Don't squeeze or massage the mammary glands.
• Avoid stimulating milk production.
• Gently redirect excessive toy-mothering behaviour.
• Keep your dog engaged with play and mental stimulation.
• Monitor for swelling, redness, pain or unusual discharge.

Most cases resolve on their own, but some need medical treatment.

Save this post for fellow female dog parents! ❤️
