I understand the emotion in that video. The only way not to feel that way is to have more options, more ways to make money, more people to date. by @yukioma__

THE GRAVE OPENS. 🩸

DJs. One grave. No survivors.

First to rise from the dead — @yukioma__ 🪦
He’s taking over the decks and setting the tone for the night.

More DJs crawling out of the grave all week.
More chaos. More blood. More reasons to be there.

A very rare picture of my friend Emmanuel. Yesterday I wrote a scene where we were still together, performing at this festival. Even if it’s in a book, I made your dream come true, and for a moment I could feel what it was like to share the same space again. This book is everything to me. And it’s going to touch people in a way my music never could. —-
I’m not in the book; I’m only mentioned offhandedly #rip taken in Detroit, Michigan by @yukioma__

Dreams are something to be remembered, something to be held onto, and pursued.

In the year 2024, I spent my days waking up at 3 a.m. going to work at the plant, leaving the plant and going to my second job at a retail store, and finishing the day DoorDashing.

I wanted to survive. I wanted to be able to afford my basic necessities. But inside, I wasn’t there.

On Jan 1st, 2025, I made this page. I remembered my dream. I left my job, and every day I’ve been pursuing music. And now, June 19th, you can come and watch me take my place alongside the greatest in Detroit.

I know life is uncertain, and at times it can be scary. I guess I just want to be someone people can look at and see hope. Maybe even think, “If Yukio can do it, I can do it.”

To all my UAW family, this is for you.
To all my coworkers still working retail, this is for you.
To the kids that watch anime and skateboard, this is for you.

That’s what the Hart of Detroit means to me. That’s what Detroit means to me.

You can do anything. #techno #ghettotech #313 #UAW taken in Detroit, Michigan by @yukioma__
