1995 BMW 540i M-Sport • 6-Speed • Arktissilber Metallic over Silbergrau

Casually putting this out there to see if the right buyer is looking.

This is a true 1995 E34 540i M-Sport with the factory 6-speed manual and M5 body styling. I’m the third owner and have owned the car since 2013, acquiring it with just over 72,000 miles. It currently has 148,127 miles, with roughly 70,000 of those miles accumulated as highway miles during my ownership.

The car is finished in Arktissilber Metallic over Silbergrau and is in exceptional condition inside and out. It has been carefully maintained, regularly driven, and comes with extensive service records dating back to 2007.

Back to Red Hulk - The OG X5 ///M with all the goodies but no ///M badging…Alpina completed their task flawlessly! Its presence is menacing, you feel it as it approaches..,.The Alpina Dynamics cool it off a bit but that Imola red is soooo deep…don’t get lost in it 😏

If dropping the kids off at school then bumping Trap Muzik on the commute to work were a vehicle, this would be it!

When customizing new vehicles, 3D printing and other digital technology can save a lot of time and effort. It can also ensure a perfect piece.

However, when working on classics, it is my humble opinion that nothing beats period correct techniques. I made this trim ring with a router, hand laid the carbon fiber, and made the mold and press for the grille. Sure, it takes more time and errors are costly (in time), but the results can stand with any printed piece. Imperfectly perfect is how I refer to ‘em

What do you think? Period Correct for classics or 3D everythang?

This was a fun project, always been a fan of the 1st gen Sport. This particular one is a one owner and after 10+ years of daily duties, it has been refurbished to provide another 10+ years of the same.

- Removal of all dents/dings/paint chips @carlos_cabodyshop
- Paint correction
- @opticoat_usa Pro+
- Switched wheels from matte to Gloss finish - made such a difference
- Proper sized Michelin PS4s
- Alcantara headliner by @dalas.auto.interiors and interior blackout to better complement & highlight the leather
- New front carpet section
- Ceramic Tint
- Timing chain and a few other mechanical issues all resolved

It runs like a scalded 🐶! Has all the punch back in the pedal and is completely murdered out (owner’s goal).

Sometimes, nah, F that! All the time simplicity wins, ALL THE TIME! A few small changes here and there can take a great build to outstanding….the best compliment for me is always “That’s clean! What did you do to it?”. I remember the 1st and 2nd e63 I drove, both were 650s…the second was silver with a full @acschnitzer kit…fell in love with the body then because the big coupe was back. This is the 3rd, picked these wheels for my guy a few years back and now it’s time to upgrade.
