@therealdisastr

Asked to moderate Am I Worthy? and left asking myself the same question, in the best way. What I took home: worthiness lives in your capacity to give and receive love, not in whatever adjective the world sticks to your name. Thank you @managerfest for the space, and to @kaisoerja @devinamahendriyani @cazadirafediva for the stage, the honesty, and the energy you shared so freely. 🤍

ps: everyone give round of applause to the festival director @liliane.melissa you gila sih! by @yurichobilly

and the winner is…

not because there’s no people.
there are names i could text. there are chats i could open.

but somehow it still feels like…
there’s no space that’s safe enough to land in.

like i have to filter first. soften it. make it make sense.
so i don’t come off too much. too heavy. too complicated.
so i don’t add more burden to their already eventful life.

and sometimes, it’s just easier to stay quiet.

if you’ve been feeling this too…
like you have people, but still nowhere to really go—

me too. lately.

maybe it’s not them.
maybe it’s just where i’m at right now.

i wish i could just say “you’re not alone.”
but sometimes that line feels… a bit full of crap.
because it really does feel like we are.

i don’t have the answer yet.
just didn’t want to be the only one sitting in this. by @yurichobilly
