THIS HAS BEEN A CRAZY YEAR, I have so much to say.

I started taking bigger risks in my artistic career. I started @wanderversestudios and it led me on so many journeys. I got to interview the alchemist and so many more incredible Artists. What a blessing.

I’ve made over 30 songs this year and have been steadily improving my musical skills. This year I started performing live. I have so much music I can’t wait to share. I’ve really been focusing on creating a system I can prosper on. I’ve set a goal to post every day for a year a couple months ago and to release a song every month.

This year allowed me to work on SO many cool projects that I can’t believe it. It feels surreal. Sometimes it feels like things are not progressing fast enough, but looking back through this year‘s photos has me thinking differently. I hosted a freestyle cypher, a fully independent events where I interviewed 12 Music Artists in Tampa. I got to go to LA, Atlanta, Austin TX, and more.

I am beyond grateful for everyone who I have crossed paths with. I have learned so much from each and every one of you. Thank you for these friendships.

I am so excited to see how these next years unfold and I can’t wait to share it with y’all!!

Feeling Powerful.

1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.

My heart was beating hard from nervousness for the past several days before the event. I unsure if I was cut out for this and felt like an imposter walking around next to these endurance athletes. I signed up for this event 9 months ago hoping that I’d have everything figured out by the time I heard the buzzer that mark the start of the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. I’d only learned how to swim 6 months ago and had never swam in open water until I arrived at lake Eva that weekend. As I entered the brisk 65F water 7:30 in the morning as one of the few people without a wet suit, my command center was moving every part of my body manually through the water. Eventually I found my rhythm and it felt just like training. I was ready to preform.

As I got out of the water and onto the bike I high-fived my parents who came out to support me. I was on track pace wise for the bike portion and started getting comfortable, thinking I had everything in the bag. At mile 40 I realized I had slowed down and only had an hour or so to ride 16 miles before the cut off time, which is way faster than I was accustomed and my set pace. I went to the random porta John at a construction site and gave 120% effort with my tired legs and burning back. I’d been pushing hard for well over 4 hours after that. I passed the last aid station without stopping. If I had arrived just 3 minutes later than I had, I would have been cut from the race. I was giving my all.

I made it in time to gear up for the longest run I have ever done in my life after what I had just put my body through. My friend @grape.hikes surprised me at the start line and it was so awesome to see him! We chatted and I forgot about all the pain. Until at mile 0.6 my legs buckled from cramping. Some dude told me to eat salt, so I did. That helped. I walked for the first two miles and ran the next 9 miles or so. Mr. Grape paced me for the last few miles. I was on track for hitting my goal of finishing under 8 hours and 30 minutes. The last two miles it was just me, my legs, and my thoughts.. Continued in comments.
