My comfort author 💕🤭

All of these authors are so close to my heart. There are books you read, and then there are books that feel like a safe home. Whenever the world gets too loud or my mind feels too cluttered, I find myself reaching right back for these authors. Their world reminds me of my old self, reading and giggling and that just takes all my worry away. Their world is equivalent to a warm cozy blanket in a snowy night for me. Every single time I read their stories, ut feels less like reading and more like coming back home after tons of hardships

Review-

I legit completed the book in 4 days. Not to mention I was bawling my eyes out as it was reaching the end. Official statement from yoana puri- Ved Ratan Singh has officially made it up to my book boyfriends list. HOW CAN A MAN BE HOT, INTELLIGENT, EMOTIONALLY AVAILABLE AND A DAMN YEARNER FOR A GIRL?!?! Istg I am totally not okay. The book made me cry laugh, be shy basically made me feel every single damn thing😭😭😭😭😭

Can we talk about the "under the table" scene?!?! That gave me butterflies all over my stomach. And oh my god THE DAMN LOVE CONFESSIONS. istg I never once cried reading every damn line of a book. This book was an emotional rollercoaster and I enjoyed it in the best way possible. The writing, the pacing, the almost moments, everything in this book was perfect. I thought I am just coming for a romance read but this book was so much more. I love how urja di completely nailed the confessions and how the past trauma of esha spoke for itself it was true, real and had scars. Basically it was perfect in every way.

Ved Ratan Singh, from a playboy to a guy who worships only one girl. A type to have "flirt with one, yearn for one" tattooed on his back. There are not enough words to describe my love for ved and his chaotic family. Esha on the other hand was everything to me. Maybe it's just because at one time of life I related to esha with how she gave her all just for people to see her and how she was making harsh from scratch.

Oh and harsh Shah? Hate him. What the hell was his problem mann☹ anyways we won't talk about bad people. Overall I LOVED this book. It was literally EVERYTHING🫶🏻✨

Book 3 of city of love series

Rating- 4/5
i LOVED LOVED this book. It was such a nice experience. The story was an emotional rollercoaster, from flirty banter to me sobbing out at that ONE scene, from Antonio and Kimberly' s sour and sweet story to chase and Antonio's bromance. EVERYTHING was amazing. The French lines added so much more depth to the story even tho it took me a min to translate them but that was honestly AMAZING

The friendships, be it chase and Kimberly or Trish, ava, Kim and lucas or Antonio, violet, Stella, quinn, chase and noah, they all were beautifully written.

For me, Antonio's character held so much depth even tho my fav is ofcrs chase. Antonio went thru things no kid should. He lost everyone he loved. He was scared to love but the way he changed for Kim was unbelievably sweet. Reading his d journals I sobbed uncontrollably. Highkey just wanted to give him a hug.

The writing was exceptionally good. Although the first chapter was a bit strange for me cuz SIR WHAT?!?! WHAT IS THAT OPENING, but oh my goodness I loved every second of it.

Overall the book was amazing and I would seriously LOVE to read more by the author. Highly recommended 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

me throughout the book- "okay the world is nice"....."okayyyyyyy telllaaaaaa clockkk it"......."eww wtf is wrong with this fat ass marcello dragna"........." i feel so bad"....... "ouuuuu julian MANNNNNNNNNNNNNN cutting her corset heheheheheheh" ........ mehhhh ......."welcome welcome to caraval"....."why does scar overthink like her life depends on it"......OKAY I LOVE THIS DANTE GUY......mehhh.......YAYIEEEE THE INTIMACY......mehhh.....oh. oh. IM SO IN.......holy fucking plot (basically the book was lying to me the whole time).....HE GAVE A DY OF HIS LIFE.......mehh.....JULIAN. JULIAN THE GUY YOU ARE..... wtfffff omg i am so invested......BOOK HANGOVERRRRRRRRRR.
