Carbon deserves the same gloss as paint. F80 M3 - Front carbon splitter + rear carbon wing correction. Process: 1. DIY Detail Gold Standard Polish with 3” yellow waffle & 2” DA for edges - one spray per pass for consistency. 2. C6 Adhesion Promoter Polish - deep clean to boost gloss and swell the clear for better coating bite. 3. C6 Ceramics Diamond Gloss to match the rest of the body we previously detailed and coated. No after-gloss shots this time, just the application. Spray it like you mean it. DM to get your carbon and paint on the same level. #F80M3 #CarbonCorrection #C6DiamondGloss #PaintCorrection #R69UltimateDetailing by @yvanlacroix
Ceramic coating your leather? Here’s what’s actually happening. 👀 Yvan from DIY Detail breaks down how Interior Ceramic interacts with those tiny pores and why that matters when it comes to keeping your interior clean. Less dirt buildup. More stain resistance. Easier maintenance. 🙌 Protect it now, thank yourself at the next detail. Shop DIY Detail Interior Ceramic online or on our showroom. by @yvanlacroix

This PPF was washed and decontaminated. Still dull, hazed, and flat. Washing can’t deep clean PPF. You need to chemically clean it. Deep cleaning with C6 Adhesion Promoter Polish on a short-stroke DA. We are APPLYING it, not cutting or polishing the film. Even for newly installed PPF, I highly recommend this step. New PPF isn’t truly clean out of the box. Deep cleaning gives you a cleaner surface, and a cleaner surface bonds better to a ceramic coating. Now it’s glossy, slick, and actually ready for Hydr8. Chemistry & science by @yvanlacroix , I just use it as intended for results. We got the detailing community together… and then we turned on the mics. 🎙️👀 Some of the biggest names in detailing, all around one table. Different experiences, different perspectives and a whole lot to talk about. Products, the industry, lessons learned, stories from behind the scenes and the conversations that happen when you get this many detailers in one room. You saw what happened when the community came together at TOC. Now you get to hear the conversation.
