The @ono.seafood memorial mural - start to finish - ho’omaka e ho’opau 🤙🏝️🐟

Thank you Ono’s for the opportunity 🌞✨ pictured in this mural artwork are Judy and Willy. Together with their love and passion created the spot of all spots for traditional poke. I hope everyone gets to try their poke at least once 🤤😋 can’t wait for my next bowl!

Over 600 students and faculty helped bring this mural to life at @damienmemorial in Honolulu.

Students and faculty were invited to step away from their daily routine and leave a handprint on the wall, becoming part of the artwork and the experience. Seeing so many people contribute made this project truly meaningful.

This mural honors Saint Damien and reflects his life of service and care for others.

Thank you to @littdesignsofficial for the collaboration and design of the landscape, and to @leahbitofeverything for painting Saint Marianne on the sand. Their work was essential to the completion of this project.

The blue tones were inspired by the sky and the Kalaupapa cliffs of Molokaʻi, creating a calm and reflective presence.

This wall honors Saint Damien and the legacy he left behind in Hawaiʻi.

For this piece, we chose to pose Saint Damien reading from his journal—capturing a quiet moment of pause. His gaze lifts from the page toward the Kalaupapa cliffs, the place he called home and where he devoted the rest of his life to caring for others. That moment of reflection felt important.

The mural faces the exit of the chapel on campus—a space people pass through as they arrive and leave. I wanted the image to meet viewers in that in-between moment, inviting internal dialogue, reflection, and a sense of quiet empowerment.

Stories like this remind us that compassion, courage, and selflessness are choices—ones that still matter today. Remembering the people who came before us helps ground us, especially in times of division. If we carry even a small part of that spirit forward, we can help shape a world that’s more thoughtful, more connected, and more exciting to be a part of.

Painting larger-than-life portraits of people who lived their lives in service has always been a dream of mine.

@drseuss quotes were requested and I’m stoked, inspired to add more written messages to future murals. 🫡✨

One of my favorite things about it is the interactions. What an interesting experience. Life. Language. Love.. I can’t help but appreciate it all. The repeated connections that lead to something that you want to call family. What motivates me to continue is how easily those things can be taken away. I hope you continue to feel inspired by this chaotic magical existence, including the law of polarity. As corny as we’ve collectively made it out to be, thank you for being here experiencing all of this. I hope you choose to step back and look at the art and majesty in everything.

Catching loose shaka barrels at Da Hale in Waikiki. 🌊 Come visit for a photo opportunity and interactive artworks. 🤙

They have an ocean of food trucks on the property and @aiwiwaffles new location is upstairs with a beautiful patio dinning space overlooking Alamoana Blvd. and Kalakaua Ave.

The building is still in progress as more businesses join the foodcourt, once we fill up 2 more spaces we will start live music events and dance music events. Can’t wait to party with you all! 🥳

Another day at the Waikiki project!
Added window graphics and painted this bench for future photo ops — and some much-needed humor.

The least effective surfboard ever… but hey, you can still practice your stand-ups and let your imagination ride.

Photos of the new stairwell mural 🏝️ wrote a little poem to help transmute the lies. Stay strong, believe in yourself, you will thrive. The brave will survive.

Deep within the tropics of my mind
The ocean soothes the fire inside

Excited to get my waffle fix at @aiwiwaffles’ new Waikīkī location today 🌞 Mural’s officially finished! ➡️ Swipe to peep the waffles and that waffle banana lumpia 🤤

This new spot is something special—outdoor seating, local ingredients, gluten-free options, sourdough waffles, and no seed oils 🙌 Waffle hot dogs are also on the menu!

The mural is along the stairwell leading up to the shop. Took me back to my first stairwell mural in high school—I was 16, distracted, and more into surfing than finishing walls 😅

We used recycled paints for this one, which kept our palette tight—but I’ve always loved what creative constraints can bring out. Once the box is set, you figure out how to step outside of it.

The mountain range in the mural is the Ko‘olaus from Waimānalo, looking toward Makapuʻu. Did you recognize it?
