Hidden and secret courtyard, please meet the Master of the House, a star in Montmartre, when he is not having a nap on his favorite bench. by @yvesmonnin

The legendary painting on tiles of the Lux Bar in rue Lepic. One says that the gentleman holding the arm of the elegant Parisian lady with her umbrella is Mr Sacha Guitry himself. Note the price of the cup of coffee, probably sometime in the first part of the 20th century. taken in Montmartre by @yvesmonnin

A thought, tribute to the goddaughter of my mother, whose first name is Huguette. Book of recipes by Mapie de Toulouse Lautrec and a discreet hommage to my brother Pierre, the ones who knew him will understand (see the bookmark). by @yvesmonnin

Of course, anything that can relieve us human beings from tiring and stakhanovite tasks is welcome. They are reliable, manouvered from any cell phone to give them the addresses of departure (point A) and delivery (point B). They are slow, silent and as low as a turtle when the flat platform is not used. They park and recharge on their own. I must admit that the first encounter with one of them can be disrupting. But, least but not last, they do not take weekends off, nor bank holidays and the word « strike » is not part of their dictionary 🇫🇷 taken in Paris 15E by @yvesmonnin

This was a difficult one. The turtle robot was conceived to entertain and make hospitalized children smile. It is smart and adapt itself to every kid, once it gets to know his/her taste and hobbies. Ad the turtles it moves itself slowly, in silence. But no blood in its veins. And inspired by its creators (aka human beings), it is easily tired, hence the lifts dedicated to him.
To be followed in the next post. taken in Paris 15E by @yvesmonnin

Questions : where is this special « lift for turtles » ? In Paris, yes. In a zoo, no. Accessible to the public, yes. Imagined and built by Gustave Eiffel, no. And last but not least : who are these lucky turtles enjoying the use of their own lift ? If you find out, you win a free ride in this unique elevator 🤪 Paris has so much to offer ! taken in Paris 15E by @yvesmonnin
