Transforming Paramaribo into a live museum; phase wall painting. Street art. The goal is to paint 4 walls. This is the end result of wall number 2. The walls are part of the ‘Heiligenweg’. A road in Paramaribo representing great history in relation to the time of slavery. It’s a sacred place. Especially for our indigenous brothers. Most do not know of the history of this place. Yet, it’s one of the busiest roads in the inner city. The stream art should bring back pride, should trigger revisiting history and most importantly approaching the history from our own modern perspective. This wall expresses:
ONE LOVE
WAN SKIN (one body)
WAN ATI (one heart)
