Sunday morning brunch calls for Sourdough! Lemon Crinkle Sourdough Discard Cookies, Strawberry and Blueberry Discard Danish, Jalapeno & Cheddar Sourdough, Sourdough Croissant, Cinnamon Sugar Sourdough, Quiche Supreme! Plus some sweet juicy peaches and huge tomatoes from the Farmers Market.

This song by Anita Baker is one that always takes me back to when we first started dating. ❤️

When I walked into a sales office to buy a house back in spring of 1987, I certainly never dreamed I would lay eyes on the man who would one day be my husband! I still remember the butterflies in my stomach each time we met to discuss business. And my mom saying that your face turned beet red every time you looked at me! 😍 Who could’ve ever predicted we would start dating in August of that year, get engaged 4 months later and then marry six months after that!
Now, here we are 38 years later with two grown sons who are amazing, a wonderful daughter in law, 2 awesome step grandsons and our adorable Hunter! Obviously, it hasn’t always been easy. But I would choose you again every single day! Thank you for putting up with me. 😘
I don’t know what I ever did to deserve you, Bruce. I love you and can’t wait for more adventures together!

Eight years ago today, I lost my incredible SIL, Anne, to melanoma. My heart still hurts and I miss her so much. Not only were we related but she was one of my very best friends ever. I would give anything to have just one more day with her. 😢

Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful DIL, @mscollum Maddi McLeod, the one who made me a TuTu! You are truly an incredible mother to Daniel, Sawyer and Hunter. I’m constantly amazed at your patience with those 3 wild and crazy boys!
