The ultimate journey is to reach within the depths of your capabilities and compete against yourself.

From starting my undergrads with a 1.67 GPA to finishing my Masters with a 4.0 GPA, I can wholeheartedly say that I’ve done just that!

Letter to self: Thank you for pushing through, thank you for seeing the vision even when it was blurred by the tears, the long nights and the self doubt. You are beautiful, you are strong, you are worthy! N*gga we made it!

To my mother & my sister, the dynamic duo thank you both for continuing to support me and celebrate me throughout my journey, I love you to the moon and back!

What these pictures don’t show is everything that came in between, the motivation, the disciple , the lack of consistency, lack of motivation, the days and weeks I didn’t even feel like showing up for myself.

I can see how far I’ve come, not just physically, but in my mindset. This is literally just the beginning of a stronger version of me physically, mentally, Emotionally 🫶🏾

Remember that starting over is part of the process. Even when the vision isn’t clear.

Boot camp was a great reminder of why I enjoy community fitness. It wasn’t just about the workout, it was the energy, the people, and the way everyone showed up for themselves and each other.

Got a solid workout in, had a blast doing it, and made connections along the way. 🫶🏾Definitely an amazing experience from start to finish.

Guys, Burpee broad jumps took me a whole 17 minutes ! I thought they would never end !

Between my hair being in the way and knowing I was about to enter sandbag lunges and wall balls, I was NOT OKAY !
