Did you know that @sushi_california_robson 🍣 has a new location in Downtown Vancouver?

Sushi California is one of my fav affordable but good sushi chains in Vancouver, so I was super excited when they invited me to check out their new Downtown Vancouver location! It’s so aesthetic inside! They even have special menu items like the Olive Tuna.

Here’s what my friends and I tried:

🍣Assorted Sashimi
🍣👑Salmon King Roll
🍣Salmon Oshi
🐟Olive Tuna
🥗Oriental Salad

Everything was so good but my favourites were the Olive Tuna, Salmon King Roll, and the Salmon Oshi!

If you love good sushi 🍣 and beach views 🏖️you gotta try @luckysushi.co 🍣 by English Bay beach 🌊

My friend and I each got the Lucky Plate Sushi which is 6pcs of chef selected sushi and we shared the Mentai Nori Cream Udon. Their sushi is super fresh and the udon was yummy! All the seafood that came with the udon was super fresh too. The prices are not bad but next time I would share a bigger Lucky Plate Sushi since they have ones with more sushi pieces at a better price, which are good for sharing! taken in Lucky Sushi Co. by @yvr_goodeats

PSA: @kravekultureyogurt is opening a new location in Downtown Vancouver! 🍦💜

This is my fav frozen yogurt spot in the Lower Mainland! It’s so fresh, delicious, and not too sweet! You can build your own or choose one of their premade options! I did the build-your-own since they have a variety of flavours to choose from, and I got the $2 upgrade for unlimited toppings! The toppings they offer are so good, I got all the fresh fruit! For my froyo soft serve flavour, I got the mango 🥭 & raspberry 🩷 twist, and it was super yummy! I can’t wait for them to open their new location in Downtown Vancouver! PSA: the iconic Chinese bubble tea 🧋 from London UK @chayan_vancouver is now open in Downtown Vancouver on @robsonstreet 🧋

🍳🥞Brunch lovers you gotta try @lavenueresto @lavenuetoronto
Honestly one of the best brunch spots I’ve ever been to! I went to their @thewell_to location twice during my Toronto trip back in March. The yummy food warmed me up during the cold -15 degree weather 🥶They also have locations in Montreal!

Food my friends and I tried:
🍵🫐🍓🥞Very Berry Matcha Pancakes - MUST TRY!! So yummy and fluffy! Made with 3 buttermilk pancakes served with their in-house Matcha cream, in-house strawberry coulis, fresh strawberry and blueberries.
🍞🍫Dubai Chocolate French Toast - Another must try! So yummy! Made with 2 French Toasts filled with a pistachio butter and crunchy kataifi mixture. Dunked in a chocolate mixture, then topped with a dark chocolate ganache, raspberry coulis drizzle and crumbled pistachios. I got this on their Indecisive Menu, which is a perfect way to try a bunch of things since everything on the menu looks so good! It came with eggs, potatoes, a sausage, and bread!
🩷🍳Pink Salmon Benny - Made with 2 poached eggs, smoked salmon, citrus, ginger and chives cream cheese, avocadoes, marinated onions, topped with a beet juice-infused hollandaise sauce, on a bagel. Served with the famous L’Avenue breakfast potatoes. Their potatoes are actually so good!
🍳🤠Bobby Does Dallas - Cassolette made with 3 scrambled eggs mixed with melted cheddar cheese, thinly sliced AAA ribeye steak, homemade BBQ sauce, sautéed mushrooms and onions. Served over L’Avenue breakfast potatoes, with a choice of white baguette, multigrain bread, bagel or naan.

☀️🏖️Save this spot for your next beach day! @chickenworldcanada 🍗 has so many yummy chicken dishes to choose from! Thanks Chicken World and @bitememedia for inviting me to a media tasting! I love how they have lots of grilled chicken and fried chicken options to choose from. All the chicken was very flavourful, juicy, and tender! They also have lots of delicious dips to choose from. The prices are super reasonable too for generous portions. I went to the Chicken World right by English Bay beach so the vibes are nice and chill there!

The best matcha I had during my Japan trip was from @asakusa_hatoya 🍵

I got their fall seasonal black sesame 🖤 matcha latte 🍵 and I got the ice cream on top as an additional topping. The total came to about $20CAD but it was worth it haha! The matcha was so rich and smooth and the black sesame flavour worked so well with it! The ice cream was an amazing addition and much needed for a hot fall day! I was so happy there was no line at their Kamakura location cuz I knew the lines would be rough if I tried to go to their locations in Tokyo HAHA! I definitely recommend taking a day trip to Kamakura during your Japan trip for some chill beach side town vibes and to avoid lines and big crowds 🫶 taken in Kamakura, Japan by @yvr_goodeats

My review of the drinks in the deal:
🧡🧋Thai MIlk Tea - the classic! So creamy and refreshing with a strong tea taste that I love!
💚🧋Thai Green Milk Tea - a lighter taste, but very yummy and refreshing!

I also ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea - loved the floral taste, so delicious! 🌸

I added pandan pearls to my drinks and they were so good! I’ve never had pandan pearls before so I was super excited to try it! I recommend getting 30% sweetness for your drinks.

I love Thai Milk Tea, so I’ve been wanting to try CTM for so long! I’m super happy they’re now open in Vancouver! Thanks so much to CTM and @fantuan_vancouver for inviting me try these drinks💛
